New contest idea

Hey, what if, WHAT IF! You used this concept for the first round in next Years Match up contest. team leaders make crappy tracks (admins, moderators) Contest groups are in 4s, Each group is given a, for lack of better word, "shitty" coaster. From there each group has has 2 weeks to, say, Ither, Delete the last 10-20 track lengths + Smoothing, Add 3D's and theaming + Smoothing, or Teraforming + smoothing.

So, WeeWeeSlap makes a bad track
Gouldy, Real, McFly and Myself have 3 options for this crapy track.
I choose to redo the last 10-20 track segments (depending on the track length)and smoothing.
McFly and Gouldy choose to Teraform and smooth,
and Real chooses to Theme and smooth. Each fine, equal points in coaster work.
we all have 2 weeks to finish the task, WWS then judges his group, as would the other Admins/Moderator Group Leaders, and Votes 2 people off and the 2 that remain will move to the next round. each group would not have the same track, group 1 would be floorless, group 2, inverted, group 3, corkscrew. so on and so forth. It would be up to the Group Leader.

Confuseing, Yes. but would the site have fun with this, i do think so!

re-making that many tracks would get boring after a while. The Match-up contest is an annual all-out slugfest, and I think we should keep it as an unrestricted coaster event. We would be more than happy to consider a smaller event with some, um, unique variations in the fall, though.

Yeah well, i was thinking about it while i was running my 12 miles today at track, that idea of mine can be altered to be alot of other things. I do get what yoru saying about th Match-up being a slugfest, and i totaly agree. I was just trying to spark some ideas, and i thought that was very complex and interesting.
