TCon's rate is frankly pretty damn unfair. I mean, giving a 5 for accuracy because he didn't do a bunch of 3ds? Not to mention that the pacing of the recreation is really quite accurate. His rate may be his usual novel, but frakly this is a VERY accurate recreation and one of the worst underrates I've seen on this site.

Well, at least it is not a stab at DJ this time ... I ain't changing my rate - the designer and I have talked and WE (the "we" being Trackwalker and I) do not have a problem. I did not rate down for not using 3Ds - but mentioned that the scenary should be complete, not barren - hence adding to the entire package (as in the Originality section). Perhaps maybe if we saw a rate from Tyler now and then rather than a new coaster every 30 minutes laced with complaints every 10 in the forums this thread might have some validity. Finally, and most importantly, the rate is explained, period.

Staff, the decision is yours. Either way, I'm not sweating it. [redsmoke]

Jesus, who pissed in your corn flakes? I feel the score you gave is low, and that the score for a recreation should reflect how closely the thing rides like the real one. I've ridden -- unlike you -- and it captures the feel, pacing, and excitement (or lack there of) of the real thing extremely well, and there are a number of nice little touches. So what if it's not technically 100% perfect. It still deserves at least an 8, imo. For someone who hasn't even ridden a ride to rate that low based on ASSUMPTIONS about how it would ride, most of which aren't very accurate, is a bit much. Personally, if I was rating at all anymore, which I'm not, I would only rate a recreation if I had actually ridden the ride in question, or at least an exact close of it. (And no, Racer and Rebel Yell aren't close to clones. RY is a different track plan, not trim braked, and better maintained)

Then rate it yourself and quit complaining about what other people think ... geesh man, here's a flashback from the 80s for you:

"Stop the insanity!!" [lol]

Not everyone needs to be corrected by you Tyler, some of us can actually go on without your guidance to correct us at each course of life. Geesh ...
