Yea, nice vid. Oh, and it rides even more intense than that. That ride is so freaking nuts.

Great video! The only thing I didn't like was the music... I had to put it on mute since it was so unbearable.

Hey thanks for the video Real. Looks like fun, but seems like the type of ride that you really have to experience in person to fully appreciate it (although you could see some of the airtime in the back row). Thanks again.

The thing is with coasters as small as Cornball, videos don't do justice to the ride it provides. I haven't ridden Cornball, but I've heard a lot of things from people who have, and I've experienced for myself how a video really can't portray how insane the ride really is. From the video, the coaster doesn't look too impressive, but I'm sure its an incredible ride.

Well, I dont have access to a camera with DV quality.

However, that WAS 640-480 at 25fps and thats how it was shot. The only thing that could be better was probably the dpi and the color quality but for a still camera, that video is impressive to say the least.

Not to mention the one fault most videos (here and other places) is that with a DV camera, the normal lens is horrible. Its far too zoomed and you always, always need a wide angle lens. With most still camera video options, the main lens is wide so you get a nice wide angle view which helps with perception of speed and reducing the shakiness.

So only people with wide angle lens for their DV cameras should shoot POV's. I cant stand watching a pov of a ride without it.

Its shaky most likly because of a lack of Wide Angle lens. Its amazing how much difference it makes but the wider your angle, obviously the less zoomed it feels and hence, the less shake youll have naturally. :)

24 is standard for film, so I reccommend saving those extra 6 frames per second[;)]

But those extra 6 can go a long way in helping with transitions and effects with film.

Thats why stuff shot with ultra high FPS film is so cool. You can slow it down and not lose any quality.
