In this topic, I just was interested to see what kind of area the rest of your live in. Basically, just post some photos of the area around you house and tell everyone about it. I only have photos of the area immediately surrouding my house, but you could post photos of your favourite parts of the town you live in. I do have one very small aerial photo of my town I can include too.

If you like trees, you'd love the area I live in, not me though, trees get in the way when you're trying to play Football and I fell out of one as a child and broke my leg so I'm not keen on them. [lol]

Image

this is the view from my bed in the morning, looking out the front window, across to the only other house within 150 metres of mine.

Image

this is the view from the window on the side of my house.

Image

this is the view from one of my back windows and look, more trees [:D] You can see one of the 5 football pitches that surround my house on 3 sides.

EDIT:

Image

this is the small aerial photo of my city that I talked about, the city is Wolverhampton and the area in the photo is about 4 miles away from my house. In the picture you can see one of the main shopping streets and my favourtie thing in the whole world, in the top right hand corner of the photo, the biggest thing in the picture, its the Molineux, home to Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, of whom I am a life long supporter. On the right of the picture is the Unversity and in the very middle of the picture is the Town hall/Civic Cnetre ...... that is where all the stupid little goths hang out [lol] next to which is a big dark building that looks like it has white roofing, that is the church. In front of the church is the art gallery and just off the bottom of the picture is the main shopping complex. Thats pretty much all there is to Wolverhampton, other than the racecourse and a lot of houses.

View i have out of my bedroom window, well this is a shot from the landing next to my bedroom but its the same view [lol]

Image

Brand new pond i built over the winter. Home to 5 little fishes [lol]

Image

Another view. You probaly cant tell, but the pond is contructed on 3 levels. 20cm depth, 50cm depth and 120cm depth. The fish hide at the bottom though. Also i did have a sturgeon in there, but i found him dead in the weeds last week [lol]

Image

This picture is taken just at the bottom of tyhe valley you can see in the first picture. As you can tell its a pretty luscious place and so calm and peaceful down there. The bridge is what used to be the old railway line back in the early 20th century which has since been taken away. The fact the no one ventures down there often means that its is nearly untouched and a good place to get in touch with mother nature

Image

This spot in the mother of all fishing holes. I doesnt look like much, but the fish in there are ridiculously huge, due to the fact in is in wicksteed park and people are constantly feeding the fish. The spot is also suprisingly deep about 5ft deep. I've had my largest ever perch out of there which was just shy of 3lb (which is huge for perch) and 8lb Pike and a 2lb Chubb...again lovly and peaceful there, huge fish...within a theme park...heaven [lol]

Image

This is a pciture of the water chute at wickies, also the oldest ride there still in operation. Although you cant fish there, there are huge fish in this bit of water [lol]

Image

This is a picture of the rollercoaster at wickies. Its a Pinfari RC40, nothing special. Those colours are new this year. Last year was an awesome dark blue track with white supports (original was red track) but now we have these tacky looking colours [lol]

Image

Another shot of the coaster. The section in sits in is known as the arena, as there is several rides there sorounded by a 'high speed' go kart track

Image

This is my artsy shot gone wrong. I took about 5 minutes setting up this shot, then as i went to click the bird jump round on the stick facing the other way and decided to moon me [lol]
. But anyway i will give out her email address and personal details for money...apply within!

My house;

A cool picture I took with a disposable camera in Niagara Falls;

Looking down my street;

And looking the other way;

The highschool I went to;

A closeup of the front of the school;

A view from above at the part of my town where my house is located, and also the mall;

And if you go into Northern Ontario (I took these two pictures two weeks ago) you get landscape that looks like this;

And of course, I can't forget that just South of my house is the worlds tallest building/tower. I can actually see this on really clear days.
