What a stupid reason to ban him. If anyone should be banned its GRIM.

He didnt ask for anyones code. He never even bordered the illegal realm. He mearly asked how to get his OWN code back. Nothing wrong with that since the code is probably buried somewhere in the stuff but I doubt youll ever find it.

Hence why hes not banned.

Ahh, cd keys. Cracked by the warez dudes, about 3 seconds after a game hits the stores, but often a real pain in the ass for legimate users.

sorry for asking for stuff like this, but I had reformat my hard drive a few days ago, and I had like only 3 CDs to put all my stuff on, and yea, I forgot that Halo required reg codes, so I didnt bother transfering any of that stuff over, and with rct2, all I need is css21.dat, theres nothing illegal about getting that file from someone... I'm pretty sure its just a music file the game is just refusing to run without...

... a scratched CD and a lost box is mistirious?

HOw are you able to install it and not have the cd key, when the cd key is conveniently located on the back of the cd case?

Sorry for my extreme sarcasm...but how can you reply to a topic without reading it?

He lost it after installation. Happens very easily, especially if you never reinstall for a long time. Ive gone a year or so without reinstallation of programs - which is plenty long enough for it to get misplaced.

GRIM you cant look in your disk for the CD key because as far as I know if you find it I thought it was programed to have every CD key instead of a special one.

yeah, I guess then it's ok for everyone to share their SM and NL reg keys. That's ok with according to your reply.

Actually, those are the only keys that I would find suitable to band someone for, since this is a coaster gaming site. In this situation, ish's post just should have been edited and he should have been warned not to distribute the keys anymore.

Ish was trying to help out GRIM in this case. It wasn't like he was giving his key for him to steal the game. And then to ban him without explanation? Ridiculous.

I've heard many complaints about how the staff at CS ban members, and them being too strict. Like this site is anymore leniant?

indeed it is more lenient, why do you think you are still here complaining about our actions? Try throwing such fit over there, let's see how long you last. We are not a haven for warez traders. He explicitely said having over 15 keys, meaning warez. Do you think such thing is reputable for us to allow? I mean if go WANTED an illegal key, he would have gone to such sites, who doesn't know that they exist and which they are? Come on, open your eyes a bit, Grim did not ask for the key, he asked to know the location of the file which contains the reg key. Meaning he wanted to get his own key back, not someone elses to play the game he already has. Had such been the case, he and ish would have been gone, one for explicitely soliciting warez and the other for explicitely giving it to him. But such question was not posted yet such reply was given by ish.
Do I make myself clear or do you need it clearer? We are not the bad guys here. Think about it.
