I don't like the way its layed, out, but hey, w/e floats your boat, I guess... So basically, its nothing I would design and be happy with, you have some really cool elements that I like, and you have some other elements, that I dislike, but its your track, and its what makes you happy.

Well, can you expand on that? What don't you like? What do you like?

Considering you dont look like youve ridden it, you are making assumptions.

First, it doesnt go off on tangents (sitting here looking at it justice. Also, why tell him its something you wouldnt design then in the same sentence say to do whatever floats your boat? Just watch what ya say. Something like that isnt really helpful in the least bit and isnt supportive of someones creation.

For all you know there could be more to the ride than you can see that ties it in. Plus the layout on a steel ride isnt as important as say, a woodie.

But dont worry, theres no tangents from the top down view.

helix looks awsome, but uhh, I don't like that immelman, and it looks misplaced, and it looks to spread out, maybe the look will disapeer as you add more track to it...

Misplaced? Just seems like you are picking on it...how can an element be misplaced? Because its not in typical order? Tisk tisk...besides, its not the first element but it is placed rather well considering most immelmans come early in the ride. ;)

I got this strange error when trying to ride your track. I connect it in the editor, and start the simulator. But in the sim there is no train. It's just like if the track wasn't connected. This has never happend to me before. The lay-out seems very good. And that first drop must be wicked!

Has he set it to shuttle so you dont have to connect it before riding?

^Sent. You get the added bonus of getting to ride the first wingover :P

Two new pictures. I've finished heartlining and banking and all that mumbo jumbo from the lift hill to the MCBR....Its not perfect, but eh, I only have a month to build this thing [lol]

I've completed up to the first wingover...which isn't much of an addition compared to what you all tested out, just a small drop and the wingover. I really need to get cracking if I want to finish this thing in time!

I kind of wish that wingover had more lateral movement to it. It seems to be very stretched out, which may be needed for speed reasons but if you could somehow get the element to stretch out laterally a bit more it would seem more like a wingover and less like a barrel roll.

when you get close to the end (or get to the end) send it my way. Ill give you a final synopsis, hopefully before you finalize it incase you want to change things.

^lol...but its going off on a tangent!

@Real - I did finalize the track, though I'm not happy with the ending layout or the smoothness of it. I also had to do a quickie job on the banking because I've only got about a week left to work on this and complete it. I'll send it to you just incase you still want to have a look at it, but just beware of the crappiness of the ending [lol]

Oh, and here is a top view of that wingover. I did try to get a good snap to it, not sure if I succeeded though, its been a while since I've been on a beemer.

IMO the name mortal combat was a lot nicer than "flight of the phoenix"

mortal combat would go better with a dueling or racing coaster though....something that I may tackle in the future

flight of the phoenix was a prebuild track, suspended swing coaster in both rct2 and 1, also common used as name for 4seat inverted in several exchanges

oh well, the name has only been used once here and I've already created a cartexture for it. I'm not going throwout all that work just because of a name.

Are you like the most negative person on the site or what? Batman is a severely overused name in real life but look, it doesnt detract from the ride at all.

It's just that the name resembles me of the suspended coaster in rct, and that i liked mortal combat better, doesn't mean i don't the name.
Real, you're just taking things too serious
