Well, I've hit a bit of a wall with my "Singularity" coaster and maybe someone can help.

What I want to do is make a curved wall 3d object, sort of like a 180 degree movie screen. I have a couple of large panorama images and I thought it would be cool to have a room or two with the wraparound panoramic effect going on. But, I have no idea how to make an object like that. If someone is skilled with Anima8tor or any other 3d editor, I would much appreciate a little help.

I tried to do the effect by cutting the images into 8 panels and placing them in a semicircular arrangement, but it just doesn't look right with the seams.

I don't think you're gonna be able to get the result you're looking for without making an incredibly high poly object which, no doubt would drop framerates. As you can't do much of anything but import basic 3d objects in NL (IE objects without attributes like shaders) it'd be hard to come up with a good solution without using an object with visible edges.

I actually figured out how to make a big semicircular section of wall, but the image doesn't seem to want to show up when I set it up in the Materials section. I may just end up making like 15 individual panels and setting them up so it only looks rounded.

there is pretty much no way to achieve a perfect circle shape in object creators. You just have to do something like a 32-sided object to achieve the circular look. The closer to a circle you want it, the more polygons you have to use.

Well it doesn't need to be perfect, I just want it smooth enough to make it seem rounded. I mean, the train will be in the room for maybe 5 to 8 seconds, so perfection isn't my top priority. I just don't want it to look cheesy.

Actually, the rounded wall I made IS made up from like 30 individual sections. It's just that the image doesn't want to show up on it for some weird reason.

Sounds like a simple object, just use something with 16 or 32 divisions and smooth shading, it should work fine.
