I'm planning on making a park pack, which will include a bunch of extreme flat rides. I want to upload them as the scenery for my next project. So, for I have just made one ride, the KMG Afterburner. I'll put pics of the Afterburner up later. I am planning to make a Waikiki Wave Super Flip or Jump 2 next. I need some suggestions on what else I should include.

A park pack is also commonly referred to in NoLimits language.
Nanner, this sounds like a pretty interesting design! Bring it on!!
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

Any of the Huss giant rides would be cool. A sky swatter or giant swing from S&S would also be cool. I am also excited to have some new rides to put into our designs.

looks great, but id change those colors. lol.

suggestion though, the reason you can load a coaster with the CS park pack is b.c it doesnt use as much polygons. for railings textures are used, etc. which makes it look good but it keeps the fps up.

I haven't learned how to use alpha textures. I think it is a feature in AutoCAD, but I don't think that Anim8or supports it. I will see if I can make the rails on the sides of the seats into single planes that have the rails as alpha textures. But, even if it doesn't work, those rails are still optimized, since they are only 3-sided. My FPS never goes below 98-99.

I know the colors look really bad, lol. I think I will try changing them to red, white and blue.

i think your computer must be great if you get 99 on THAT. dont forget to make sure it isnt a frame killer for most people.

I think the rails are the only part in need of optimization. It has 10,468 polys with the rails, and 6,068 polys without them. It actually still looks good without them, too, so I might just leave them out completely if I can't get the alpha textures to work.

Here is the revised version. I changed the colors, did some slight optimization, and took out the rails; so now it only has 5,940 polys.

I think that this one will definately need textures in order to look good.

Bumper cars in a roofed building would be cool. Also, how about a dark ride building (spooky theme. Your stuff looks good so far!

I have AutoCAD and Anim8or for texturing, but I think that Anim8or has extremely limited texturing options. I haven't learned how to texture with AutoCAD yet.

I like the idea of making bumper cars. I think I might expand this outside of just extreme rides. I think it would be cool to have a log flume or go cart track sections so that you can make your own track, RCT style. One major problem that I'm having is trying to figure out how to keep the scale the same when I import it into the editor.
