You don't like Pulp Fiction? What's wrong with you? That is my favourite movie, ever. I'm afraid you're going to have to give me a real reason, not "I dunno...", that's crap, and if you can't, i'm afraid all your future statements can be classified as null and void.

For my answers to your question, check out one of the many other threads like this.

You can't seriously say that you like that? You just reminded me of another movie I hate. The worst Bond in years (and that says pretty much)

Why I Don't Like Pulp Fiction (didn't really mean hate)

First of all, I know a lot of people who don't like Terantino flicks. I have a best friend who hates Kill Bill (they will remain un-named due to the fact that their statements may become classified as null and void.[}:)])

But why do I not like the movie? Shouldn't the question be why have I seen it at such a tender age? Plus, people have different opinions about what they want to see in a movie, and what they don't. And the statment of "I dunno...I just didn't like it" is really all I can and want to say. There's nothing wrong about it, IMO it's good movie to some, and bad to others. But what I'm saying is that while watching it, I never felt attached to the charectars, never really got into the plot, and my mind kept wandering off. If you want a full explanation...i'll PM it to you if you want.

The Matrix and Silence of the Lambs are the 2 most overrated films ever. Nearly 5 hours of my life I'll never get back. Anything M. Night Shamalan made after the Sixth Sense are huge, ripe, steaming piles.

Eraserhead is a brilliant movie.
Showgirls is so bad it's fantastic.
Freeway is wonderful.
Lost Highway is really mind blowing.
Dancer in the Dark is the single most emotionally gut-wrenching thing I've ever seen.
Drop Dead Gorgeous is sooo funny in it's slaying of midwestern white trash.
And my guiltiest pleasure of all is The American President. It's, trite, it's hokey, it's got a predictable ending, but, I can never turn it off when it's on.

Pulp Fiction is just O.K. Kill Bill is probably the only Tarrentino film I can say I really like.

Someone actually sat through Doppleganger?

Christian, or not, I don't understand how you can hate the Passion of the Christ. It was a very well put together film with some of the best cinematography to date. It might not be a favorite, but its not a bad film.

It shows the life, and the passion that he had for us, to be able to go through such pain, to forgive us of our sins...whats not to like?

Ah master of puppets, telling it like it is, as always. Doesn't matter anyway though (null and void, remember?)

I didn't say you have to like all tarantino films. I could understand someone not liking, for example, the kill bill films although they are two more of my favourites. However, Pulp Fiction is one of the best constructed films i've ever seen. It has an all star cast, and not just "stars" like Keanu Reeves, but people who can actually act. It's also amazing structurally in terms of plot, and hugely entertaining in the broad spectrum of 'feels' it offers. Also, on top of that, it's hilarious.

It is for this reason that i'll need to see a proper explanation if i am to ever take you seriously.

It's a horrible movie. It lacks everything you need for a movie to be exiting. It's just a man getting caught, and then torturred for two hours. A movie need some sort of story that people can get involved in. Mel Gibson propably realised this, so he extended the torture scenes until it becomes boring. That way he was sure to get a lot of attention. I see that people may be intrested in seing this story on the big screne, but as a movie this is realy horrible. My opinion got nothing to do with me being a christian or not, but simply as a movie fan.
