How do I go about changing the textures on the default station in the default environtment?

I tried using environmental to change the textures, but I can't find the sunny day environment...

you need to open it when you can find it.

then just change the textures, make sure you have the textures in the suuny day folder, then you open envimental. change the teture, and resave it.

it should work that way, but if it gets F#%(@ed up, it wasnt my fault ;)

well, I would rather use the default sunny day one (if possible) and just edit the textures i need to change so that I don't have to mess around with all the trees, ground and everything else. And this is for a contest, so I can't really use someone elses environment.

The sunny day env is just the same as a blank file.

Use this template to create an env. Just replace the texture url to the one you want to use. Also, if you want the defaults, simply remove the line containing it. (this explains the sunny day env being the same as a blank env file) This also is for v1.3, without an env editor for 1.55, I'm not really sure how to edit the 2nd layer of clouds or the other tree type (for the trees, I'm guessing it's sim.tree4, sim.tree5, etc)

Alternatively, you can just use the env editor.

so for the default environment, i just include these;

sim.stationside.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationfloor.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationtrack.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationrailing.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationtop.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationtopside.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationwaitrailing.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationwaitgate.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg
sim.stationrafters.enabled=true
sim.stationrafters.texture.path=Environments\template\asdf.jpg

is that right? and everything else will just goto the default setting?

[edit] nvm, got it. thanks for the help
