hey,

I wanted to heartline a track piece but everything I get is that the program says error. I'm clueless. I don't know what to do.

startspeed: 22 kmph
exitspeed: 33 kmph
here's a pic of the section.

perhaps it's too long or has too many segement...i'm not sure if there 's a limit on lenght or no. of segments but it usually stops giving error when using smaller selections of track, but i think you'd better pm buster for this

hmm I guess that's not the problem. I have already heartlined trackpieces with more then 1000m.

The AHG has no limit on track length ... never has.

What are the settings you are using? Can you do a screen sheet of the actual AHG screen when you try to heartline it and get the error?

OK, I am trouble shooting so forgive me if I mention something you have tried.
Have you messed with the filter and precision settings at all to see if those are throwing it off? Try to just bank it with a Heartline setting of "0" and see what happens. Also, I am sure you are using the new AHG version (which I have not messed with yet) -- does the old AHG program give the same error?

Have you tried setting the speeds up another 0.5 or 1? I tend to do this as it seems to work a bit better. Because the track is raised or lowered the EXACT numbers sometimes fail - I always make them slightly higher.

Thanks tconwell and real, but nothing of it worked.

I've set the start speed higher and with 100mps it worked so I guess the start speed is too low, but on the other hand the value is too high then.

Did you mean 22kps or 22ms?

22kps is equal to 22,000ms. Are you sure you have the right units?

yes I am sure,

I've set the startspeed to 6.1 mps and the exit speed to 8.8 mps. should be the right units.

22/3.6=6.1
32/3.6=8.8

soi I guess they are right.

You meant kpm, not kps.

And setting those to 7.1 and 9.8 doesnt work? If you want, send it over to coasterreal@gmail.com and Ill take a look.

It usually won't let me set the volocity to anything to anything below 23/25. It doesn't really see to matter what speed you set it to, either.

yes it does, if you put in a lift hill from the bottom and you give 6.8 mps as startspeed it won't work.

Are you sure you got the endspeed right? 33kmh seems a bit slow, especially after that 10+m drop.

Ok. First, you have all of your segments black. That presents a problem since the only thing you have banked is the Immelman.

Fix 1: You need to make any parts with airtime (anything at or over -0.1) needs to be BLACK. That way the AHG doesnt flip it over.

IE your drop right off the beginning and the small airtime hill with the turn

Fix 2: You need to make your turn segments WHITE if you want it to auto-bank it. Which works for the first turn, but youll have to hand bank the second turn because if you leave it white, itll bank it but because you have airtime there it will flip the riders upside down trying to keep it from having airtime. If you keep it black, then it wont bank it.

Fix 3: The beginning of the immelman needs to be white all the wast PAST vertical. Then, since you have banking, you need to turn those black so it will keep the banking.

Never on an inversion use the black segments. Plus you CANT use rel-roll either, it must be banked by hand.
