The old baseball to the groin and face trick. On a normal kid, funny and on a disabled kid, lame. I mean, it would be funny to do it for a joke to a normal kid, but doing it to a disabled kid just so he couldnt play in a game of T-Ball is so lame. I say we take baseball bats the guy and hit him in the groin

The fact that it was done out of competitivness in T-Ball is sickening as well. T-Ball!!!

I know that majority of kids who grow up under parents (or parent) like that grow up to resent them for that. They soon realise they werent allowed to have fun unless they won which is just a load of crap.


Ive gone to quite a few of my girlfriends soccer games she coaches as well as her siblings local recreational league games and these people exist all over. Thankfull I got to see her eject a father/coach from a game because he acted like a moron. Most get the point then but thats too late - the kids already get to see the lame example.

Does anyone care about bringing up their children to be decent people - better than their own parents as a sign of "I want them to be a better person than I" ?

edge, you probably can throw even a normal kid into disablility. It's just not normal, doing as a "joke"... This isn't really a joke. Here has been once in the news that a boy wants for april fools days to hang himself up fake! But ended up that he accidentally hung himself for real!

No, thats T-Ball for your yard. Real T-Ball just uses a smaller baseball with a smaller core and such. I have a little league ball from when I played baseball and its a bit smaller than an MLB ball. T-balls are similar to little league Im sure.

Just something that has mass but isnt too big.

I was wondering who was paying attention to the news and would catch this. We had a long conversation about this at work ... 'tis a shame. But you know it already, what one generation embraces the next will take into excess. I refer to the cheerleader mom who killed her daughter's competition ... it is all relative in this society.

At any rate, won't be long now and I can stop reading about this stuff ...

I had seen that while zipping around the web... insane. The coasch is abviously as mentally disbled as the kid.

Oh, and for clarification, the game played with the plastic ball with the holes is whiffle ball. And the real whiffle ball has elongated holes only on one side of the ball so the ball curves all over the place. A childhood backyard favorite especially since I grew up in a neighborhood with (then) quite streets and plenty of like age kids.
