Yes, the beaches can be done in the terraformer. But I would model the entire volcano in 3ds instead doing it with the terrain. (I could create a custom texture for it to resolve the issues of a volcanoe looking like sand, but the textures won't carry as much detail) Oh yeah, if you want me to, I can also fix the env for you.

For modeling the volcano, it's possible to just export the thing to 3ds, then add in the lava mesh in the center. You might want to send me the track. (coasterdepot(at)hotmail.com)

i like to volcano the way it is, and i'm getting along with the objects creator very well, but will you still be doing the envoirment?
the coaster will be on an isle, so i'd like something with ocean, is that ok?

That volcano looks like crap to me...(constructive critisism [;)]), a 3'd one would look much cleaner...

All you really need for the env is really simple, all you have to do is insert a few lines into notepad.

sim.background.trees.enabled=False
sim.background.texture.enabled=false

Once you've copied this, save it as a .env file (i.e. tropical something .env), put it under the environments folder, then go to the track, under track info, then browse for the file you saved. Oh and make sure there's no .txt in there, get rid of that extension completely. Oh, and make sure you set the env to track default or the env you saved it as. When you load the track, and you still see trees in the water and hills in the distance, you did somethign wrong.

Moving on, you may want to make sure the water covers the distance too. To do that, you'll have to select a water texture as the ground texture. The beaches and volcanoes and stuff will have to go as 3ds.

Just mentioned it. Change the terratexture from grass to a water texture. Use 3ds for the rest of the terrain you need.

Or you can make the entire water a 3ds object, and not use terrain at all. The water is just a flat plane stretched across a huge area, hopefully it will cover enough. (you get no reflection though) If you want to do this, tell me and I'll tell you what to do.

making the ground a water texture ain't an option, cause i still have got to do some mainland......so i'll leave the enviorment for what it is, and i'll be concentrating on the station, walkways and supports

btw: where can i find some smoke to coverup the tunnel entrances?

This looks like a pretty big sized coaster. I'd rather went for a small sized ride [:)]

Do you have some stats from this monster? Like max speed, max g's, hight, length?

As I've said, you can do the mainland out of 3ds.

For smoke, it's easy, you just need a flat plane object that's transluscent (you may want to use a cloud texture if you have one), then you just place it in.

Here's the cloud texture.

Nice job on the station, but a 3ds one would look better IMO.

As for the land/water issue at the edges, you could use the terraformer to make a custom texture. Then color everything that is water with some dark blue. You can experiment with the color untill the land on the edge allmost blends with the water. Once that works, you can add light fog in such a way that the edge blends even better and the landmass on the outskirts is covered with fog.

So you're not going to get rid of the green at the edge of the water? Just use 3ds for the terrain and trees. Or maybe you can make the whole thing 3ds water and make the water mesh really large.
