Have you all thought that maybe they'll do what SFMM did when the built Scream!?....They didn't go for any records (going for the most coasters) And built a fun coaster....not the tallest...of fastest but jut fun...Cp Might just build a new floorless coaster with a truly innovative design like Droney and their Hyra....instead of going for a record breaker...but then again if they do that, they'll break the record for most coasters in a prak.....so who knows.

no no, I think you'll find that actually is just America [;)]

Do CP really need to build a new coaster yet? I'm not sure they do, and if they did build a new coaster soon, there is absolutely no way that they'd build a coaster taller and faster than KK, as if they did it would have to be another rocket coaster like the one they already have and so they just wouldn't. If they did build a coaster, surely it would have to go over the parking lot wouldn't it? Nevermind about it being a good idea to build over the parking lot, surely thats the only space left at all? Unless they built a very small but perfectly formed little thrill coaster, like Daemonen or something, but I really don't see there being a place in the park for something like that, I just can't imagine them building a coaster like that. Maybe they should concentrate for a couple of years, on making the park actually good, and not just concentrating on the big rides.

Well Goudly, Have you ever been to Cedar Point?....If not then you can't comment on how good the park is...CP always focus on the park as well as it's coasters that's why it's the best...They just built MaxAir..a FLAT ride....so yes it's probaly safe to say that CP indeed will end up building a new coaster for either the 06' or 07' season.....and as far as space..they have plenty...

The Park already has 2 Great B&M's.....And also..I highly doubt that CP will build another Hyper...as the last 2 Coasters haven't got any inversions. Point being CP will more than likely build a coaster with inversions nexy time around. And another B&M would be nice...just not a Hyper IMO[:D]

Lol, you didnt have to put your ideas into three posts.

But yea I bet it'll defenitely be a B&M flyer or floorless, of course if it was an Intamin Hyper (which it probably won't be) I won't be complaining, I love my air, and that's what most B&M coasters lack.

well, i doubt that it will be a flyer since SFMM is getting a flyer for 2006, so i think it will most likely be a floorless, or maybe an invert...

Cp don't really need anything but a good quality coaster, and there know for that.

Why not a GCI or GG woodie? They only have 2 woodies and 14 steel coasters so why not?

I vote for S&S woodie...can be small to fit in the park, but I think with the insane speed and power of S&S woodies, many people will like it almost or just as much as a giant steel coaster. Ofcourse I haven't been on an S&S woodie yet, but from what I've heard and seen in pictures and videos (both onride and off) they seem amazing. I don't think even CCI would have as much of a positive effect on the crowd with a similar sized woodie. Gravity Group I'm sure would be awesome, but judging from what they've done so far their woodie might be a huge one (though I know they could make smaller ones) that would take up a lot of space.

Dick Kinzel has publically said that he does not like all of the maitenance required to keep a woodie running. There will probably be no wood coasters in CP's future.
