you people are crazy. I see it as entertainment. Knowing that my track entertained at least once person makes me smile. Besides, its not like you guys were gonna get anything out of this. Wow, he didn't ask permission, what did you lose out of it? Nothing. So why do you people care so much?
great point, one of our songs got played on a london radio station, and i never got to hear it on the radio, but i was glad that people across the states and across the atlantic got to hear my song.
in an idealistic way i look at this situation as "wow, even in france wee wee slap rides are on the web" (not MINE of course, so maybe they were "stolen" from somewhre else) and it's kinda nice to know that some one like this stuff enough to post it on their site, even with the "artists" name... so it's not like someone else is taking credit..
BUT suddenly i realize that everyone else doesn't live in my own little world and i say to myself... "hey, self....the guys who run this site take alot of time running it, and it probabaly isn't 'free".
(if you look below there's ads for coaster related stuff, and these ads might have alot to do with why we have this site to post our rides on) when someone can access something for free that wee wee slap is paying for everyone to have access to, meaning that he runs this site where we all clicked a little agreement box that says "yeah post my track!!", this means that we all have a reason to check out the site, and we see the ads, and the advertisers are pleased.
but then, someone who doesn't have one's permission to exploit your work to benifit their interests , or the interests of a collective that doesn't have your approval, should NOT benifit from it at all... that would be stealing...and that seems to be going on. it's stealing from the authors of this site, and from the advertisers and others that endorse it, and in fact it's stealing from the builders of the tracks, who did not give this other site permission to pst them.
