Which coaster do you think is the best at CP and why? Though I know there will be an overwhelming response for MF and TTD, I wanted to see what the GP of WWS thought.[:D]

Millennium Force, because it's high, it's fast, and ride time is more than 50 sec. [:)]

MF is my favorite, but I have a soft spot (right on the middle of my thighs) for Magnum (maybe that's a bruise). I like the roughness of Magnum but for all around fun it's MF.

i love wicked twister, but magnum gets my vote because it's rough and FULL of air. MF sucks. lame drop, no airtime, dull ride.

Sadly it is. Its no where near being a top 5 coasters in my opinion. It doesnt really do anything other than go fast and high. Dragster does that AND has more airtime than MF. (depends on the day but on average I get slight floater on MF but more like real airtime on Dragster)

Yea MF gives you light floaters but nothing intense. Whenever I ride TTD I hardly have air over the top (no more than MF). Raptor's just plain crazy though. It's a tie between Raptor and MF.

Seems like more people like Gemini, Woodstock's Express, Wildcat, Corkscrew, Blue Streak, Mean Streak, Jr. Gemini, Iron Dragon, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Wicked Twister, and Disaster Transport more than TTD. HAH. I do like Mantis quite a bit, I guess I just like standups in general.

EDIT- MF is in the lead with 18, the rest of the coasters have 3, while other has 4.

I disagree Real, for me, if it wasn't for Millennium Force, then I would have a tough time deciding between Mantis and Raptor for the best coaster at CP. Having been once (just after MF was finished) I can definitely say MF was the best ride at CP when i went, I've never ridden TTD so I don't know if thats better but I'd assume it wasn't because MF is really something to be honest. But both Mantis and Raptor to me, seemed to just be really good rides, they both have something unusual about them, in terms of the coaster type, they both have great layouts I think and from the point of view of someone who can't up and go to CP everyday; they look great aswell. I've quite a soft spot for all the sort of large B&M rides like that, something about them really stikes a chord with me, dunno why ........ probably the bright colours, helps my brain process the information [lol]

Mantis is just so rough. Well, the trains suck big time. They vibrate like a paint shaker. No matter where you "stand", front back middle inside or outside, its all the same.

Mantis does look very cool, rides like crap. Raptor on the other hand, completely different story.

Once you do ride MF enough, its just another coaster. Its tall and its fast but if you dont have a phobia of heights, its nothing different than any other coaster except taller and faster.

And Dragster goes taller and faster (much, much faster) so thats nixed out. Sure, MF holds its speed a ton longer but thats all it does.

I can jump in a convertible and do 80 and get the same feeling.

To each his own - especially with Mantis. You must be masochists.

Your forgetting the ride we have to compare them to in the UK Real [;)] To me Mantis looks pretty awesome, all we have to compare is Shockwave at Drayton Manor. Thats fun in itself so seeing something like Mantis looks pretty awesome. Plus we brits like it rough ;) [lol] Nothing beats having 3x your weight being slammed down onto your crotch area

Lmao Edge, But I do agree with Real. The mantis is not the great of a ride. You head gets banged around so much u don't know where you are, and after you get off the ride you have the biggest headace and need the sit down so it will go away. That takes away time for ride Coasters.

I have to say that I enjoyed every CP's coaster but MILLENIUM FORCE is something that I will never forget!

I've never had a head banging problem on Mantis, but then again my skull is pretty thick [hello]. Also I've always thought that Mantis was very smooth, but I must have different smoothness standards than some other people.
