Favorite & Least favorite coaster company

YAy real agreed with me, Traver rocks. I think he has to be THE most daring designer in history. This is why i like him so much. He was so ahead of his time. Imagine if he was alive today, what crazy things could we see from him. I also forgot to mention Schwarzkopf!!! I cant believe i forgot him. Traver and Schwarzkopf have done so much for the coaster industry, along with a few others such as John Miller (what a great) and prior and church of course who built what looks to me one of the best coasters of all time, the airplane coaster at Rye playland. I must also mention Travers Crystal beach cyclone, and his and church's Huge Revere Beach cyclone. Both so ahead of their time IMO.

Anyway thats enough from me praising all my favourite legendary designers. Dont get me on the subject of these people, i can talk forever about them.

I must agree with FN about vekoma. I think we can expect great things from them in the future. I am also waiting for S&S to suddenly shock everyone with another unique design some time soon like they did shock me with their pneumatic launch on their thrust air 2000 coasters. I dont know why these didnt take off. [:(] Oh well, i dont know i anyone knows this yet here, but er, a UK park are rumoured to be getting he next *cough*Fantasy Island right near me*cough* But again i have only heard this twice and its only a stupid rumour so probably isnt true. But i have been told they have big plans for half way through the 2006 or 2007 season, but again that is just rumour. Anyway im going well off subject.

^I doubt S&S will built another thrustair style ride. I think they have moved onto bigger and better things than those things. They are unreliable, short, have crappy trains and don't have the best capacity. Hopefully we will see more Powder Keg style launch rides from them.

Yes i suppose. But i can imagine a thrust air at FI more than a ride like powder Keg. Or maybe a coaster comprimising the launch off of a thrust air but without that big spike, but instead have a better layout following.

Really?! wow. How can you ride other stuff then? I didnt think TT was that forceful though I did notice it had some good G's at the base of the drop. Thats crazy.

Favorite: Intamin, due to awesome coasters all around and SROS @ SFNE. IMO it is the best steelie in the world.

Least favorite: None, I have'nt rode a togo, even though I have heard bad things about them. I bet half of the previous posters have'nt rode a togo either, which is giving them an unfair representation. Vekoma and Arrow coasters are a little more rough, but most are far older than most B&M and Intamin. Plus Magnum is awesome and full of air.

I don't think there are any companies that I don't like but my favorites are B&M, Arrow, GG/CCI and Intamin.

Haha. I grey out on Arrow's Excalibur but it is on of my favorite coasters.

Well, from what I've ridden, B&M and CCI/GG are on top on my list. I have yet to ride an intamin hyper though.

Least favorite? I don't really have one but I will say that Arrow could have done better with Corkscrew/Python, but then again, Ninja @ SFSL is awesome.

Favourite is B&M for the sleek smoothness...

...Least favourite? Meh, Veokma, probably.

I don't really have a least favourite coaster company. I can see why some people TOGO cough..manhatten express...cough, but some of their rides are half decent. I didn't mind Sky Rider at PCW, actually, I kinda liked it.

Hmmm.. My fav. is Intamin and B&M My least Fav. is RCCA even though they make good woodies

I don't have a least favourite though really, to me the attraction to some rides is the sheer shitness of them. I've ridden pinfari's, like the late 'Klondikes gold mine' at Drayton Manor, and come off the ride knowing that for sheer crazyness, that was the best ride in the park. I think all the coaster companies have an attraction about them, just for some, that attraction happens to be how poop their rides are . Seriously though, all coasters are fun.

I like any ride designed or enginnered by Werner Stengel (over 600 coasters).

I don't know why so many people think that ride is so rough, and many people somehow manage to hurt themselves on those models. I've also ridden the one at SCBB and it isn't bad at all if you hold on and keep your head straight.

Favorite: B&M
Least: ...none really....never ridden a togo! hopefully never will! =)

My favorites are Intamin and Arrow. (I would say GG but I havent ridden one, all you people saying GG prolly havent even been on hades, so keep your mouthes shut). My least favorite is any ride that coulda had potential but they decided to give some B&M wood cars to it just see how F'd up they could make the coaster before tearing it down in the near future. lol, Any ride that fits that desription would be my least favortie designer.

I have been on Hades and it's my new favorite woodie. (I think you are right though, that most people saying that havn't been on it).

Favorite: Herb Schmeck/PTC/CCI/maybe GG

Least Favorite: Vekoma cause even though their flyers are fun they have the worst reliability and their SLC's are DEATH

Favorite: Intamin [:D] [no competition there [^]]
Least Favorite: A tie between TOGO, Arrow/S&S(mainly Arrow), and Vekoma.
