If you don't know what a Credo is, it is either;

A: A quote you live by
B: A quote that changed the way you think and/or live

I have two qutoes, the first is my favorite and is posted on my wall from a poster I made. The second I just like cause it makes me think and changed my perspective on life.

1: Guy Forsyth:
The trick is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams. Because, if you can do that, you can do anything.

2: Woman at Restaurant
When it was over, all I could think about was how this entire notion of oneself, what we are, is just this logical structure, a place to momentarily house all the abstractions. It was a time to become conscious, to give form and coherence to the mystery, and I had been a part of that. It was a gift. Life was raging all around me and every moment was magical. I loved all the people, dealing with all the contradictory impulses - that's what I loved the most, connecting with the people. Looking back, that's all that really mattered.

And please, don't be dumb about this.

Moe Szyslak(sp?) - "The Simpsons":

"I'm a well-wisher, in that I don't mean you any permanent physical harm."

Seriously though, I just live by the credos of "you do good and good will follow you" and "treat others as you would like to be treated". Pretty simple but it works for me.[approve]

Always strive to do the right things in life, not the convienent or self serving things.

Treat others as you would want to be treated yourself.

Never pass up a good opportunity, that always leads to lasting regret.

Carpe diem...if you want to know, the real phrase where carpe diem came from is Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero which means "Pluck the day, never trust the next," Which means don't trust yourself to enjoy the next moment.

As for Gouldy...that's sad. I'm not going to even racall that as a joke. And for one thing, you should of at least read what it said at the bottom of my first post, "And please, don't be dumb about this,"[V]

why not? jeeeeeeez, lighten up man. The main reason I'm on this site is to have a bit of a laugh with others, and it made rob laugh so you know, if I wanna make a bit of a joke and have a bit of a laugh, I will, thanks all the same. If you're not on here for a bit of a laugh and to share some fun with others, then frankly I don't give a feck, and you should just have ignored what I said and shouldn't have commented [:)]

Still though, if you REALLY want this thread to be a completely serious one, then I guess I'd have to say something like:

Live life for the moment.

Basically, life isn't very long so we should love and enjoy everything that we do in it. You shouldn't let little things bother you because it just simply doesn't matter. When a friend or relatvie dies, don't sweat it, poop happens, life's too short to care, my grandad died recently and yes you're upset and griefstricken, but you have to move on and not let it affect you too much, after all you aint gonna be around for that much longer yourself. Stride towards your dreams, theres not enough time to sit around saying "I wish one day I could be such and such", do it! Don't be bothered about what other people think of you because it just doesn't matter, it only matters that you are happy within yourself. Basically, life's too short and you shouldn't let things bother you, just pick yourself up and jump the next hurdle. Just enjoy life!

He wasnt being dumb, thats just him. [lol]

Yeah seriously guys, lighten up a bit. Gouldy was only joking and joking isnt a bad thing at all. Frankly i wouldnt read posts if the didnt have any humour in them. Then i would be extremely bored.

Anyway the quotes i live by are "You can do anything you want to do", "dont judge a book by its cover" (that is the most important quote to me. I hate it when people judge me because i dance and they dont know me).
Oh and also "life is a roller coaster" Obviously. [:D]

Heh ... I'm really glad that was not at me ... and BTW, my hand slap was for your sarcasm -- of course it could be for the fact that I have an 11 year old daughter, but ya never know. [:D]
