y doesnt my avatar work??!!

im really comfused. ive tryed a few times to get a custom avatar and everytime it goes away. what am i doing wrong.
this is for future reference cause im sorta out of points from this problem[B)]

Is your avatar too big? Needs to be 64x64 in size, thats far too large. It wont autosize for you.

ah crap. how do i size it?

go download "xnview", at www.xnview.com . Then, start the program and load the avatar... finally, click on "image" "resize", and change it to 64x64. Then, upload the picture and post the link in the url box. Ta Da!

well, i've seen the avatar came up a few hours ago... Looks like you have modified your profile. That resets the avatar to none.

im haveing the same problem how do i resize pics in paint?

i was trying that but it wont ressize what i want it to. it just resizes teh bit-map. i was getting wicked pist so i put it into photobucket.com and resized it there.
