I have a few questions.
Are long shuttle coasters allowed?
does it minds if arms might hit the border of the area where the track must stay in?

1. Any type of coaster is allowed, which includes shuttle coasters.

2. If there is any type of support that would endanger the guest, it is considered a collision. However, if the border is in the way, you can adjust the height. You cannot adjust the horizontal position of the template, because it would change the interactions with the rings, but you can raise and lower the height of the template itself all that you want. (the enclosed area does not change at all, so it doesn't matter.)

The layout that I just finished, was probably the best coaster I have actually ever made. Heres a picture of part of it (I can't show you the rest of the ride cus theres some secret stuff [;)]:

BUT, because of the way the rings are, and not being able to delete unused rings, the way I could get the track back into the station, was by joing the brake to the station wth an impossibly tight corner, so I have to scrap the whole track and start again. I would have liked to have done the coaster properly and uploaded it into the exchange after the contest, however, because of this PIECE OF poop computer, I've just accidentally deleted the trackfile, and I've now broken the front panel on the computer aswell ....... but it deserved it [lol]

I'm working very hard and that result that the track is finished. I've made a LIM launched coaster. It hasn't inversions, but it has sharp turns. The coaster goes trough 9 rings. Now I going make the supports.

Here are the pictures.

you guys dont make any sense to me. why upload images of your ride? your not only giving away ANY chance of being the only with that element or what ever, your letting everyone know how hard they have to work on theirs. i could steal your ideas guys, that aint cool. now no one will be surprised when they open your track. and i know what to expect.

so why upload images guys? do you REALLY think im going to impressed or something if i see your track this early? quiet frankly, if you can be done this early, i have concerns about the coaster. i either think that A.) your track sucks and has lots of pumping and jerks. or B) you AHGED a bad track, and now it is better. but the problems still exist. or C) the track is actually very good b/c you managed to build this coaster this early with the life you dont seem to have. dont rush things guys, you probably wont like the out come.

^^^ Thats why my pic shows a few pieces of track crossing the screen, and some water below. For all you know i might be sending pics of another track which isnt the one im going to use at all.

I have to agree about the guys sending pics of their whole entire track though.

Ragan, your portraying a whole bag of emotions to me through your last comment. It seems to me like your actualy sitting there all green in colour

I got bored a just played around with the template and what i made looks exactly like what Gouldy has up there [lol] Also it doesnt take months to make a decent track. In fact it can only take 1-2 days as some people have shown

The pictures that I uploaded are pictures of tracks that I have scrapped now and that I'm not going to use, when I finally decide on a layout, I won't be putting any pictures of it on here until after the competition. By all means take ideas from the pictures that I uploaded above, thats actually the reason I've put them there, because far from trying to cover up what I'm doing and keep everything a secret, if someone can use one of my ideas to better effect in one of their rides then thats great, I'm not bothered about winning this contest or whatever, I just wanna see some great tracks! [lol] I did however say "I can't show you the rest of the ride cus theres some secret stuff" on one of the pictures, thats because I'm reusing one of the main elements of that rde in a new one and its a completely new element, well elements really.

My 3rd attempt at a layout, was just pathetic, it went completely wrong [lol] so much so I couldn't even be bothered to take any pics, I just deleted it all straight away [lol]

of course you're not, you know you'll be hanging us out to dry when it's time to judge LOL. j/k but i have a question, if the track passes through a ring twice, does it count as one pass or two?

one. You have to pass through 7 different rings, not just "go through a ring 7 times".

This is an important question, so I will put it up on the front page.

I downloaded the patch, now how do I extract it? (Not to be anoyingly clueless, but I'm still new to NLpackager, all I used it for was being able to ride packaged tracks)

A good thing to do is to go to the nlpack file you dled for this, and right click then select "Open With" Find the .exe file for the Packager itself, and select that, then click the option to alwase open that type of file with that program. Hit okay.

Are there any G limits? Thats what I'm most worried about. Also, If we dont support the ride, will that count off? I'm going towards somthing like a dark ride with mine.
