I know you said that tunnels give too much clearance but how much extra clearance? I'm using an Intamin Inverted with a 2 rai ltrack for this segment, and on of the rings poke through the top of the tunnel less than a foot in, will you let that pass? Believe it or not, I only have 868 feet of track so far and I went through 4 rings.

I doubt I will be able to finish, my dad just told me we are going to Disneyworld in a week, and that will probably not leave me time to complete it. My friends are staying the weekend until monday (and then SFNE!), and then I only have less than a week to complete it. Bummer, everytime there's a contest I can never finish.

Just make a quick one. Its obvious neither of us is gonna win with real in the contest. [:p]I am making a really quick one just for fun, and practicing 3ds skills. [:)]Ive got a better ride to go back to after the contest. I made the track in 2 days and im on supporting and 3ds now, so dont fret [:p][lol]

My 3ds came out really bad. I may just not support this coaster and make it a space enviornment. The best way out of supporting.

I had problems supporting my coaster cos there was always track in the way of where supports needed to be. This has resulted in very close calls and me having to use supports that stretch over the whole width of the area just to support one bit of track.

EDIT: Im not showing you my ride as thats whats getting marked but heres a little bit of themeing ive added. Its supposed to be an S&S space shot:

I am giving it a try too . . . maybe it is already asked in the topic, but are all trackstyles permitted, or does it have to be the selected trackstyle.

Shouldn't you at least read the rules?

They clearly say that every coastertype can be used.

I'm working on final smoothing and supports, which I'm having a hell of a time with becuase its so tight together in places! I may add some more things to my track too, its kinda short...

Ive finished my coaster with lots of themeing aswell. [:D] Well it isnt really themeing as such, its just like pavements, a S&S space shot ride, a station, a tunnel, some queue lines, onride photo booth, viewing platform etc. Just to make the area look nicer and more realistic.

Wow, my ride is pretty crappy at the time. This contest is a hell of a lot harder than I thought it would be.

I'm still going with the B&M inverter. I just need to smoothen and support this puppy. And she is being quite a pain in the rear.

I made it easier for myself. Look around at smaller coasters which are still exciting and base your ride around that. If you have something to be inspired by while making the track, it becomes alot easier. My coasters quite small, its about 90 foot high, but still travels at 50 mph through most of the circuit [:D]

Yep. I let you guys off pretty easy in the match-up contest, so I figured it was time to rattle your brains a little bit...
