2005 Coaster Draft

I think that if you pick a coaster ouside the US, or a small coaster many people won't know about, you should post a link. That way less educated people can actually see our coasters. EX. Instead of just taking Euro-Mir, post a link to RCDB, and many people wont know what Euro-Mir is, and will not take that into consideration when selecting the top parks.

Thats true, but they can just search the coaster in RCDB anyways if they don't know what it is.

Its also part of the strategy to pick known coasters that stand-out. When the voters skim over the lists, they won't read each one. They'll just skim them and when they see something that catches their eye, you've got their vote. Choosing Dragon Wagon to go into your park isn't exactly the best thing to do.[;)]

That makes sense. I just thought that there are a lot of great coasters out there that aren't very well known, or are placed in a smaller park. I guess if we want to we could post a link, but its up to the competitor.

Correct if I'm wrong, but if coaster992001 posts his pick before topdrag, he does not forfiet his turn. That's how it goes on TN, but some rules are slightly altered, so I'm not sure.

He does forfiet his turn because he didn't choose it within the 24 hour timer. If you don't keep up to date with the thread, then we shouldn't have to wait a week for you to pick your ride! On TN, if your active on the site, then you get sent a PM reminding you but he hasn't been so we just move on to the next drafter.

That would be cool, but it would kind of detract from the main rerason we're doing the draft.

Sure, we can do that. That gives one more variable to vote on in the end. We'll do that in the end so people can get an idea for a name.

grow up and check the forums yourself, you should post when it's your turn, and if you're checking your pm's before the 24h limit, you're on the site and you can also post a coaster...
