What Recoils Harder.

I'm a bit of a gun freak. I've shot 28 gauge, 20 gauge, 12 gauge, 22LR, 7mm-08, 30-30, 9mm and, 223 rem. Of these in my opinion the 12 gauge kicks the hardest. I started this topic to gather your opinions.

Btw my 12 gauge is a mossberg 500.

Well i have fired a Air Rifle and 24 Bore shotgun, so yeah, kinda obvious which one. My Dad says 12 bore shotgun as he nearly had his shoulder blown off by the recoil lol

From what my friends dad says, firing a Smith and Wesson 500 S&W Magnum is like getting by a horse.

who know, most of us don't even know what differnet kinds of guns there are, i know basics like the glock or berretta, or magnum, but I can't really say much after that.

A gun thread? Didn't WWS already lock a thread like this? I mean, what is the freaking value added of a gun thread? I can understand the "off topic" nature, but I think perhaps this may be a direction the WWS/CC may not want to venture down ... just my opinion, take or smoke it.

I've shot a 12 guage shotgun and damn that hurts. I also have a 22 caliber rifle thas realy fun to shoot

What? you're American aren't you?

Some of us arent gun nuts. I think military weapons are cool but mostly just to shoot at targets. What guns can do to flesh is a bit disturbing. (even though thats the intent)
