Well, this topic has gne a long time without an update. I stopped this park for a while due to doing some new no limits tracks and stuff. But im bored of nolimits again (i often go through stages where im bored of nolimits and start playing RCT again, or bored of RCT and start playing nolimits again) so i came back to this park. Last time i had looked at it, i was half way through the first large themed area in the park, this is called Fortunes Landing. Well ive finished that area now, its an adventure section of the park really, deep in the forest. I started on another area a few days ago which is only small and that is also now finished, its called Rainbow beach due to the bright colours lighting up the shore. [:D]

Anyway, pictures (only a few though and they dont show that much):

Image

This picture shows the huge rapids ride climaxing in a large drop down the hillside from out of a temple. Next to this ride is a large dueling mine train ride and then there are various other smaller rides in the area along the main street with small shops.

Image

This picture shows the drop on the Rapids ride.

Image

This picture was taken ages ago when i hadnt even finished half of Fortunes landing. The main street in Fortunes laning can be seen here, but obviously no way near finished. You can also see a small part of the dueling mine train rides.

Image

This picture shows the most extreme ride in the park so far. It is 2 space shot towers and 2 drop towers and this ride is called sky scraper. It is located near the entrance to Rainbow Beach which is a bright bustling chaotic place. I tried to make it like a sunny and nicer version of blackpool.

Image

I like this building, its the entrance building to the Rainbow Beach cyclone, a classic woody. The building is wonky, with weird architecture which hopefully gives it some character. The building is still quite simple though and small because of the slightly small space i had to fit it in.

Image

This picture shows more of the Rainbow beach cyclone. Its one of my favourite rides in the park so far. It doesnt quite achieve E>I>N but never mind.

Anyway i hope you like the look of how the park is coming along. I am just starting a new area themed around a small harbour taken over by pirates. [:D]

Thanks. The pirate section is coming along slowly. I have 3 rides in this new section, a pirate ship, rowing boats, and a virginia reel coaster. The virginia reel coaster is inside a building and is called boozy barrels. [:D] Its taking a while. Im building it with pirate buildings but it also has like little sea side cottages on the hillside next to the harbour. I will upload a picture when i get a decent amount done.

Ahh...I really wish my RCT2 would work. The beach part looks like an old idea I once had, but I never had the patience to liven it up like that! It looks awesome...so maybe I'll upload it to my old computer...even though the game will lagg like non-other! Keep up the good work.

Okay my pirate section is looking alot better now. Ive now added a small log flume to it called "The journey to smugglers cove". Ive also added another shot tower, but this is a smaller one and in real life it wouldnt be a shot tower, it would be a huss topple tower but never mind. Its themed as.................. A TREE. [:D] Complete with foliage on top.

Looking very nice. I installed RCT2 on my good computer just so I can play this when your finished (and download Memoria of course). The themeing looks very nice and the Rainbow Beach Cyclone looks awesome, even if it doesn't achive E>I>N. Can't wait for you to be finished, looks very impressive.[:)]

The Pirate area could be called something simple like "Pirate Cove" if you're struggling for a name for it. "Boozy Barrels" is an inspired name fr a pirate themed virginia reel coaster though [lol], genious.

^^ Why thankyou. I did actually steal the name from Sundown. I dont know if anyone actually knows what sundown is so i will shut up. LOL. I was thinking of calling the area Smugglers cove, but its just not original. In fact that is stolen from where i went on holiday last year.
http://www.zanteweb.gr/images/navagio.jpg [:D] Which btw is like THE most beautiful place i have ever been too. Its on an Island called Zante (or Zakynthos) an its well nice. No coasters though which is a shame. lol. Anyway, im going well off topic here. Hesa pic of what the pirate area looked like when i first started it. Image Its progressed a lot more than that now as thats only a tiny sneak peak pic. [lol]

Here are some pics of the pirate area now so far. Its still under construction remember. [:D] To be honest this area isnt really a total pirate area. Its supposed to be a seaside village with harbour, that is taken over by pirates. So at the moment it just looks like a village on the edge of the water, but when i have built the pirate fort this will hopefully change the image a bit.

Image

The area being built

Image

a closer look. Here you can see the mayors house which houses part of "The journey to smugglers cove". You can also see "The old goats inn" which houses "Boozy barrels". [:D]Look closely and you can see track weaving in and out of the building.

Image

This picture shows the log flumes main drop into the jungle part of the pirate area, called smugglers cove.

Image

Heres the shot tower themed as a tree. You cant really tell its a tree but thats what it was supposed to be. LOL. [lol]

Image

Heres a picture of what the park looks like from the furthest view possible. Its quite a big map, not huge but quite big. I still have quite a bit of room for some insane rides next. [:D]

As always looks very nice. I have a question, how long does it take to make those buildings, cause I wanna see if I have enough pateince to build them (I doubt it though).

EDIT-Will it need Wacky Worlds of Time Twisters?

^ Thankyou Iron Man. [:D][:D]

Jimmy Yoshi, the time it takes to make them buildings ranges from about 1 minute to about 20 minutes. For small simple buildings that are basically cubes and are there to just take up room, they will take like a minute if you are not putting in much detail. Where as buildings on main streets that actually house shops and things need more detail so they take about 5 - 10 mins. Then big buildings around rides, or housing rides, and stations take about 20 minutes. [:D]

EDIT: Yes it needs WW and TT! Actually wait, im not sure if it needs TT. I think it needs bot but im not sure. I will see.

This looks awesome!

(you did build the tennis courts wrong though. The service line doesn't extend into the doubles alley and the center line doesn't extend to the baseline.)

well anyway it looks like a really nice park, One question though . . . on the inside of your resort do you acctully have levels or is it just an empty building. Because after i make a roller coaster on RCT3 im making a disney resort with a water park so i want to see how you did it?

Using 8-cars, select "own all land" and you will own the tennis courts so you can change them.
