I know everyone says that the Phantoms Revenge is better but in my opinion Mogran ruined the phantom. I don't like shoulder harnesses but I feel the phantoms wern't bad they just needed to be softer. Also the Phantoms Revenge's bunny hills are back killers and it is far worst in the Morgan track then the old Arrow Track.
Wow... Ok, I never rode Steel Phantom, so it wouldn't be right for me to compare these two, but since ALL Arrow loopers in that style/era rode the same, I can assume that it wasn't anything special compared to any other Arrow.
I just rode Phantom's Revenge again about a week ago, and it has everything needed to be a great steel coaster. IMO, I don't think any steel coaster could do what this thing does any better. The bunny hills at the end pull probably about -1.5g EACH and the restraints allow you to be pulled right out of your seat. Back killers? Again, another person who probably doesn't ride coasters knowing how to brace themselves. The transitions are definitely curve to curve with no lead in, so your instantly out of your seat and then slammed down hard (especially that double drop!) but they are only painful if you let your elbow get slammed down right next to the seat (very easy thing to do, I made this mistake several times over the last couple years riding this coaster) or manage to ride limp. Or, you just can't handle anything but a perfectly smooth ride which doesn't seem logical to me since apparently you thought Steel Phantom was fine.
Phantom's Revenge is my favorite Steel coaster and can only be rivaled with Intamin rockets for me. I think its one of, if not the most underrated steel coasters in the US.
