They obviously had some money to burn so they built a cat walk. I mean who wouldn't want a catwalk?

Sadly, no shots from Great Adventure. However, I will be looking to expand the CP collection and complete it this year. Time is ticking but looks better since girlfriend goes to college and leaves me open for weekend dates with the rides.

Nice pics. What lens did you use when you took most of your Cedar Point pictures? I want the Rebel XT but I am edgy on which lens to get. Did you use a tripod when you did the TTD 1 second shutters?

I use a Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 USM and a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM.

I use those on a Digital Rebel so you have to multiply those numbers by 1.6x to get the actual mm of each. so my first lens is a 28-88 and the second lens because of Digitals focal point is actually a 123-480.

Nearly all Cedar Point pictures were taken with a tripod. I have found that unless your shutter speed is very high, even going hand held can produce small amounts of grain. when I take ANY time lapse I use a tripod and when I do ANY telephoto pictures (long distance) I use a tripod.

Tripod becomes your best friend as a photographer.

Thats what I figured, too much blur w/o.

The 123-480, looks like a piece; and pretty penny. I guess thats around 12x comparison. I'm looking at the 28-200mm lens after I get the body itself. Can you take pictures w/o a lens, if I just bought the body first? I'm sure in that sense, the Rebel and Rebel XT are the same.

he didn't have 3 balls. He was saying that his penis was long enough he could lean on it, and between his legs and his penis, he would form a tri-pod. Jeez, can't even get the correct context of the joke.

$650 for $1600 worth of goodies! I thought about looking on Ebay but I'd be a little leary about it. I've gotten a fiddle of their before but that was $50, not $700 or more.

1 Lens came with the camera. My dad purchased the telephoto. I basically got the entire Digital Rebel EOS kit though for 650. It had all the CD's, warranties, everything. One deal I couldnt pass up.

Im offering a service on a personal contact basis (as im, PM'ing me) to which I will make prints of my photos in any size up to 30" x 20" for a price. I can do anything to any picture if you so choose and I have an example that I did for a poster I made of Dueling Dragons.

Note: Some pictures (All the Holiday World ones) are not at the quality nessicary to go up to 30" by 20" and still being very clear. I hope to redo those within a month ;)

Get ahold of me via PM or email at coasterreal@gmail.com and we will talk something out.

Info on prints:

The paper is a very thick, almost plastic like material that has a matte gloss to it which shines but doesnt blind you. Its very durable as I said and could be hung up by itself with the little tacky glue stuff or framed for best appearance. I make my own frames and could do that for you as well but it would cost quite a bit more plus youve got shipping.

The company I get them through is also very, very good and my only print makes me want more. They do very, very good work at reasonable prices. My 30" x 20" inch full color poster was only 18-20 bucks. Sure, you can pick one up at the park for 10 but this is on a super nice paper which should last you a very long time in comparison to the cheap, almost notebook like paper that they print on.

European orders would be very tough. Shipping a tube, even just a tube is quite expensive. You would have to live near some major cities for it really to be ok unless I could get the company to do it for me. So, probably no Euro orders which does upset me. :(

I can ship to anywhere in the 48 continental states here in the US and it will be included in the price.

Want a poster? Gimmie a holler.

The gallery is undergoing an overhaul in the next few days. Its expanding from just my roller coaster pictures to pretty much everything I take. Im tired of using other websites to split stuff. Im using a mysql/php gallery which is fast, clean and easy to use. I believe I already have some uploading as I type this.

Great site you've put together, those are some great photos.

EDIT: I didn't check the site's current status before posting that. Therefore: "Great site you've put together, those WERE some great photos." [lol] Have fun putting them all back up, can't wait until you finish.
