I knew when I went to Knott's that I would have a ride on Silver Bullet. I wasn't so sure about Xcelerator though.

I personally like the second drop how it twists like that. Because apollos chariot does that and its really fun!

Six Flags Over Georgia has a height restriction, just to let you know, but anyways, this coaster is gonna be awesome. Even though I've had the blueprints for weeks now, it still ceases to amaze me.

Go ride Nitro then report back to me on intense air. Its at least floater and then some. Its some of the most satisfying airtime there is.

IF397 - I TOTALLY agree. Front seat into the helix looks awesome. If its anything like Nitro it will be a QUALITY ride no doubt. I love Nitro and this means I need to hit this park at some point in the future now.

[lol] well thats a stupid thing to think, its such a small park that your guaranteed to get on any rides you want to. You might not get on Xcelerator the first time, but, you will eventually get on it.

The paint job is bleh, and it looks a bit slow over the hills. hill after hill too. still, no doubt it'll be a nice coaster.

Well, you are right. It's just that I didn't see Xcelerator working when I drove in. It took them about an hour and a half to get it working, only to have it break down again.

come to think of it, i have never seen a B&M down. the worst ive seen is scorcher stopped on the lift and thats only for a few minutes. B&M is more quality rides and experiences than trying to get a bit of fame for a record.

Raptor was down for almost a day one time at CP. I am not sure to the cause but it did reopen at some point. Though it is very strange to not see them operating. Their downtime is very, very minimal.

I agree, the paint job was not thought out, its the same paint color as goliath at SFMM, now the one at SFMM is cool but i hate repeats. I wish someone would make a coaster that is Green And Blue, Like Deja vu!

double posting is not needed, you can click the edit button, and add more to it, rather than posting a second post 1 minute later.

am i the only onw not "wowed" by it? I mean...it looks like every other B$M Hyper and it isnt much to see...it looks like a few hills and a helix and then a brake run.

But they provide one of the best rides on the planet. So what does it matter?

I could say the same for alot of other rides and I even look at coasters as peices of art.

Just think of how many other B&M's have a very similar layout. No matter what, this coaster will be an airtime fest.

hyper coasters are supposed to be hills and helixes. thats the big draw for them. height, speed, and airtime. i mean, what was there to expect? there obviously wasnt enough room for a 250+ lift. if they had done that, it would've been a big drop with a bunch of trimming to maintain a safe speed on the other hills. i think this is a great addition to the park. its not a record breaking, original idea. but who cares? its a B&M hyper!! One of TPR has an evil camera that breaks the rides.

This thing doesn't look very long, does anyone know the stats? From the looks of it it isn't even 5000 feet. Oh, well. Looks like there will be some nice airtime with all those bunnyhills.

This ride does look alot of fun. That video looks like the ride gets better and better after the helix. Thats where i think the ride will really start to feel relentless, if it ever does. It looks like it will travel faster through the last hills, than it does on any other B&M hyper, or am i just mistaken???

BTW, whoever thinks B&MS cant have major downtime, you should have been at Alton Towers on Airs first year of running. Everytime i went it was always broken down. But then again, that was a prototype i suppose.

One thing, well more like two... This ride, looks pretty awesome for a b&m... Nothing against B&M because I absolutely love their rides, but you have to realize, B&M are all about the ride capasity, thats why they are one of the only ones out there that will take the extra time to make a smooth four seater... Thats also why they can't push the limits that much because they have to heartline for 4 hearts instead of 2, as on most coasters... Also, about B&M building higher... using traditional lift systems it becomes an engineering nightmare to run a three train set up on coasters above 250ft smoothly... Steal Dragon solved it by haveing two separate chain lifts, but look at it now... and milli runs on a cable lift, and the other goliath runs underground, so the lift is not the full 250ft... SO all of you complaining about B&M's not pushing the limits, they are actually pushing them for the type of rides they build... I am looking forward to trying out this awesome ride next summer...

They still heartline for 2 people. If you heartlined for the outside seats the inside seats would pull hideous laterals.

No matter what they heartline where the heartline is. It doesnt matter if there are 4 seats or 2, the heartline doesnt change. The laterals on the outer seats do go up, its just natural. Ive tested this on every B&M Ive ridden and its there. Its not a huge jump, but in some cases it is. No matter what you cant avoid it.

Its just B&M's style. They like to build things they know will work and work all the time.

Doesn't every company just heartline from the center of the train? Whether you heartlined the center seats or the outside seats, the heartline would have to be done from the center of the train or one side of the train would be more heartlined throughout the course of the ride than the other, resulting in excessive laterals on that one side.
