Time for some more feedback from webmasters and others who run contests [:)] SM2 allows custom scenarios that have certain limitations built into them. What type of features (limitations) would you like added? Some examples:

Can't change land/water height.
Can't remove scenery.
Force to a specific track/train style.
Can't change station placement/type.
Track/support placement limitations (think land ownership/permissions).

Time is somewhat of an issue so please respond ASAP if you have suggestions.

Track/support placement limitations (think land ownership/permissions) .. as in making land boundarins both vertically and horizonatally.
For a limit on max and min g's allowed, uhmmm specify max track lenght.

my other staff will chime in ASAP

Im not staff, but here are suggestions.

-Set cars length.
-Set a certain few nobes so they cant move, such as a premade lift for the contest, the builder would be able to adjust those vertexs.
-Set trees,(prolly under set scenery)

Would it eventually be possible for you to have a Mac version of SM? Just wondering.

Not anytime soon at least. I don't have anything against Macs besides thier price, which is stopping me from buying one to do the porting and testing with [:)]

If you have a monitor, keyboard and mouse you could buy a Mac mini. Prices start at $500.

he'd need something that could run SM to its full extent, he'd need to get a quality Mac.

Or I could do what alot of people are doing and just install OSX x86 on my pc and create universal binaries. Of course, that would be illegal [:)] We'll see what happens once the Intel Macs are released. Anyways... Back to the original topic [:)]

I'm sure most of the people here don't want you to get in trouble for doing something illegal. Most of them want their SM2. I'm actually excited about it and I can even run it on my computer. Keep up the hard work.[^]

One limitation I can think of is keeping the original system requierements the same and not to lower the system requirements for SM2 while most folks are always shopping and upgrading to faster gaming computers. Another words, stay updated. Hope this make sense.

allow only 1 lift or launch segment, and be able to limit its speed.

There's been alot of good suggestions. Keep 'em coming [:)] Coasterbum - The minimum requirements hopefully will be lower than the first game, not because I've cut back, but because the code in the first game wasn't as fast as it could have been. Of course, I'm also including new stuff that will require a modern gaming system to run. It will just silently fall back to the older ways if it can't do the newer stuff.

Another one I can think of, speaking of the B&M's, on the Steel Twister Style segment and on that particular 2 accross Hyper Train, see if you can add an object on back of that train. Something that looks like a car trunk, a tail end or something to give the whole train a good lookig appearance. But that's going to limit the choice of how many cars per train. However, try to standerdise it to maybe a fixed four cars per train in that particular train only. Just like the one you see in the mega dragster trains. The only limitations you have is adding or reducing the number of the cars. That's just my thought.

SM2's train options are more flexible so adding a unique last car doesn't add any additional limitations.

But for some reason this thread is quickly becoming a general suggestion thread instead instead of scenario suggestions. If you want to make a non-scenario suggestion, please start a new thread so this one can remain open [:)]

perhaps to limit decentdegree, so rides cannot go steeper than, lets say 60*
and something like riders-per-hours, or the stacking/dispatch time
