So, I'm really bored, and I have seemed to become obsessed with Intamin Mega Coasters over the last couple of weeks, so lets have a contest. Here are the rules.

1. Build a Intamin Junior Hyper under 190 Feet, any higher, your entry will not count, and would have just been made for our enjoyment.[:D]

2. You can not rate other peoples tracks that have been entered, but if you would like to comment, knock yourselfs out, literally.... and I'm not joking.

3. Upload any time during the last week of September, your time. If its uploaded any time after, your entry will not count, and will just be another hyper that just happened to be uploaded around the same time.

4. You have to use a lift, no rocket coasters, or plain old LIM launched coasters. Only 1 lift may be used, No launches may be used at all. Lift may be an LIM lift, if you wish, but chain lifts are way cooler because they click, unlike those LIM which don't make any noises at all. Lift hill cannot exceed the speed of 10 mph or 16.09 Kmph

5. Must run at least 2 trains with 8 cars per train. Positive Forces cannot exceed yellow. Negative forces cannot exceed 1.5, lats cannot exceed green.

6. 0 inversions allowed, but over banks and stengle rolls allowed.

7. No other rules, go crazy. Your goal is to create a wicked awsome ride like Expedition GeForce and Superman:Ride of Steel NE. Good luck, I look forward to riding all your guys creations. (the main reason I'm doing this [lol])

We will be rated by the community, help keep this topic alive by chatting about different techniques, and help each other out with this one, and help each other get better. This is a different kind of competition! THis is a learning fun kind! [lol] Link to your hard hat area from here so we all know whats going down. You don't have to say I'm in, just build! I will reward the top 3 rides. In the event of a tie, myself, as well as 3 other people will be the ones deciding who wins. If one of the 3 judges is in the tie, then they will be replaced, that goes for myself as well. First 3 knowledgeable people to nominate themselves get the spot!

So that we can find your entry post a link to your ride here so that people can go look at it. Even if your not in the contest, per say, you can help by rating!

The Prizes
1st Place: a wopping 500 Points!
2nd Place: 100
3rd Place: 50
Costing me a total of.... 800 points![lol]

lol, funny contest, still a few g-force questions:
- exceed yellow in positive: how much is that? [;)]
- exceed green in lats: How much is that? [;)]
- How many meters is 190feet? [:D]

Just give numbers, don't give colours!

sounds anyway like a fun idea, but still pretty basic, i want template!!! [:D]

Yay, I have already done the pre-lift section of my track, this seems to be a promising contest...

I'm following up FN's question. You can submit any unsubmited track file as long as it fits in the guidlines. It doesn't matter how long ago it was built.[:)]

To follow up on Dirks question - lets say positive g forces can't exceed 4.8, and lats can't exceed 1.4 in any direction. But try to keep it as low as possible. I know that some people can't keep low lats, but try your best. No Template, i want to see the best ride you can possibly crank out, thats why the rules are so basic.[pshades]

You could build the lift to 190 ft or less then switch it back to meters to finish the coaster off.

Dirk 190 ft = 57.91 m
I reccommend using http://nldc.interfix.net
It has a great deal of resources, and Riscit did a very good job at setting it up.[:D]
-edit- I must have posted it around the same time you did, Dirk[lol]

I'll probably enter a track. I wanted to quit NL since I hate building with beziers but now I'll be forced to stick with it because of this contest. Thats good, because I want to make coasters in NL no matter how horrible the bezier system is.

Mini hyper? That means its over 200 feet but its not allowed to be. Hmmm. Somehow this defies physics. [lol]

hmmm, I think I will have a go [;)]. Somehting a little disappointing, is that I have just this minute finished a 220ft tall Intamin Hyper which is obviously above the limit, so I thought hmmm, I'll just shrink it using the toolbox, but now it just doesn't seem to have the same presenence and it seems to have changed almost, just feels crappy now, ahwell, I shall build BETTER one! [:D]

I have a question about the height. Is it considered legal to start the coaster at say 300 ft but have it teraformed so that it is only 10 ft off the ground?
