Hey, I just saw a website, saying demon drop at Cedar Point was for sell. So do you have 250,000 extra? you could own demon drop.

Well i guess thats just a tad sad, i heard that it was really scary once you got to the top because it was so old and the structure moved wierdly.

It was a great ride. As you ride to the top of the ride its abruptly stops giving you a pop of airtime and scaring the **** out of you. Then the drop was just gut wrenching.

I'm sure the ride was scary. Those first generation Intamin drop coaster are certainly getting on in years. The structure would probably shake a little bit now.

You may have to sell your house or take out a new mortgage to pay for the ride. If you had it your insurance would go through the roof.

I doubt your parents would take out a mortgage to pay for a drop ride. I wonder what your neighbors would think with the drop ride roaring througout the day. How would you get it in your backyard?

the same way Cedar Point got the ride into the park, piece by piece you don't hall it all at once.Insert But it would be cool to have one of those in your backyard.

I wonder what construction and deconstructions costs would be?

I'd worry more about keeping the ride working. CP probably spent more than what the ride was worth trying to keep it going.

hmmmm, if I win the lottery in the next couple of weeks, maybe I'll buy it, there's plenty of fields around me it could go in and that would be my way of starting up a new little park near me [:D] ..... this is of course if I win the lottery though [lol]

The chances of gouldy winning the lottery are small. Unless he won like ?????????100 million he couldn't really get many good rides. With ?????????100 million though, he could put in a nice B&M and maybe an Intamin rocket and maybe a nice woodie.

I'd rather say an OR then an AND. it's expensive, also you need to keep some money spared for the maintenance and stuff [;)]

What is the matter with you? You can do a whole crap load with ?????????100,000,000. YOu could, do all that, and maybe even put in an intamin hyper, and then put down buildings for a fully funtional park (it might cost a little over ?????????100,000,000, but only maybe 1 to 5 more million more euro. Besides, we know that his chances were small, you don't have to be captain obvious. [lol]

^Yet again[sillyme]. You're not the first person to call me captain obvious.

Edit: A $15,000,000 coaster would only be about ?????????7,500,000.

Could this mean cedar point is making room for a new ride?

I've known this for about a month now, I doubt there putting a new coaster there, but maybe a nice looking Huss Jump 2. I think it's sad there trying to sell it, I'm not sure who would buy it though, I wouldn't. I guess there saying to themselves "out with the old, in with the new", but lots of people are angry that it's up for sale. I'm really actually just blabbering for no reason, whats this aboot again?

I didn't like the one at GL becuase they only have 3 cars on the track. CP had 6 and while at the top of the tower you had to wait for the block to clear, so the wait for the drop was nerve wrecking. On GL the car moves forward and drops instantly. Just not as suspensful.
