I think I'll try this one [:)]. I have a cool layout that I made a 200ft Hyper, but I can just shrink it down a bit. Mini Hyper just doesn't cut it. I'm retty sure Intamin uses Mega Coaster in this context.

My coaster will only be 150 ft (45 meters) tall. I believe that qualifies as a mini hyper. Although, I don't think it will reach hyper speeds (80mph). So what is it called?

lets not be rediculous here, just build a normal ride. You know what I'm looking for, it doesn't need a big mountain, just maybe a hill, or 2 to climb on.

Intamin uses the term Mega Coaster for their hyper coasters. On the trains for SROS @ SFDL theres a plate that says "Intamin Mega Coaster". I don't remember how correct that is though since I last saw it a couple years ago.

I'm not sure if I'll join, I'm making a 430ft strata-coaster right now, I'm sure I can make a mini-mega coaster by the end of september. I guess I'm in, I could use 500 extra points.

Ive made a first drop with -0.9 floater from the back seat, and with 4.9 vert gs at the bottom felt from the front seat. An extreme change in forces for a 180 foot plunge at 80 degrees. [:D]

I'm having a go at this contest as well, but I wouldn't count on mine getting finished either, now I've got a PSP and all [lol].

Its ejected floater. its actually -1 now, and its sustained for about 2 seconds. [:O] And then i have a 10 metre bunny hill straight after, taken at 64 mph with -1.4 sustained. [:p][:p][:p] Its getting a bit crazy.

I'm going to redo my design, it needs more ejector air![lol] But my drop is awsome! -0.1 in the front seat!

Is having -1.7 airtime by accident because the AHG messed it up against the rules???

I'm having a problem with the rules. If possible could you change the minimum number of cars to 7? If you could then my coaster would be a lot more fun than it is with 8 cars. So what I'm asking is if you could allow the use of 7 or 8 cars. This would benefit in being the best possible ride I can crank out.

And if you want to see something similar to EGF which has 7 car trains.

fine, it might help us all out, anyways. But the only reason I'm doing this is just because EGF uses 7.
