Yup, to accompany Hydra so it doesnt feel lonely I will bring back this project I started like a year or 2 ago with Frenzy from CS. This ride was re-built from the ground up over the last couple weeks and all that is left really is to finish from the wingover to the brakes.

Then I will support and Frenzy will flesh it out with 3ds.

Sorry, no Tyrant. He will have enough work with Hydra and if he wants too, he could re-do Frenzys since Ill just give him the track. But for now, Frenzy gets the honor.

Heres a huge teaser:

Wow. All I can say is it looks 100% accurate, I can't find anything in that screenshot that looks the slightest bit off.

The wingover is going to be a PAIN in the butt. Its already proved to be VERY hard to do by hand.

Which is how I still do all my rides. With the exception of woodies (go figure) I still use my hand skills and the smoother then the AHG is applied. So the base of the ride is still good old hand tweaking. Its alot of strategic placement really.

If I ever get the wingover right, then Ill be all set.

aah crap, I too, was working on a rec, and have been for a while, guess I might as well give it up if Real is going to do it.[:(] But yeah, I totally know what you mean about the wingover. I have an overhead satalite image if you need it, I'd be happy to send it over.

^^ I would take that offer but I have like 3 sat images AND 2 overhead blueprint maps.

Yet, even when I follow those, it seems a bit off. Most of these are usually just architectural drawings and they are not AS accurate with stuff like the tracks exact shape but more for footer and support placement which is more important.

The layout isnt very hard its just execution of the elements, especially that wingover.

There is nothing more important in a recreation than the placement of the footers.[lol] Well, anyways, I wish you luck again. (Especially with the wingovers.) Give us updates.

I meant for the footer thing to be sarcasm, lol sorry. Forget my LOL there. For me its not as important but for them, yes it would be.

Youll be updated, dont worry.

Looks great and it will be. Are supports going to be 3ds or NL?

Supports should be NL. Theres nothing special about them to make me go 3ds.

Update: Track Complete!

However, theres issues. The track is only 40ft off in terms of length and will be perfected till its within 1ft. Yet, the ride carries WAY too much speed. So my heights must be off somewhere.

Expect some time to get them all situated out. Once thats done then we will move forward.

Are you off or is this another example of NL's physics and friction being a bit out of wack?

Im only 4ft off and yes, it was actually more me than NL.

I think NL is still messing up slightly, but the G's are much closer to what I think they should be and speeds are much better.

Just made some minor adjustments, all should be well once I get 4ft back.

As always, looks like another winner from you Real. I wish I had the patience that you have, to make these wonderful rides. Seems extremely accurate as we have come to expect from you. Looks like you really like Dorney, as you're recreating both of the major coasters. Really like what you do and can't wait for this one.

3110.01ft. I think being within 1/10th of a foot is good enough, :P

Ill have screens later - mostly editor screens.

We had 3ds ones? lol. They will be NL supports. Theres no reason to do 3ds. Frenzy will be doing 3ds connectors I believe, but not 3ds supports. considering that theres nothing special (like paint scheme) theres no reason to take up resources when the NL ones are optimized at different distances to keep fps up.
