I found this on their website. Anyone else seen this? Look at the bottom, and notice they have a 4 wheel or trailered car(blue one). These trailered ones would have been sexy on voyage instead of timberliners.

I think those are actually very hawt.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Yeah ik ptc is da bomb. They can have one front one with the four wheels and articulated chassis, then have them all be trailered behind. Through those on some curves and it will be just as good (if not better) than GCI.

These are pretty old, I think they came out for IAAPA 08. I personally don't like them at all and I think they're just a shortened version of a normal PTC car, which have issues in itself which is probably why no parks have shown interest in them.

I'm aware, but the axle assembly and frame is the same as far as I know. I've been told by mechanics at two different parks that both of these have some fundamental flaws that PTC hasn't addressed. Besides the articulated axle and lapbars, PTC cars are pretty much the same as they've always been.

All that said, I love the way PTCs ride and track, and they are pretty much my favorite trains. But mechanically they are out of date, and I don't think this new design addresses anything besides shortening the wheel base (which was the same case in the 80s when they started regularly producing the 2 bench cars more than 3 bench).

My main gripe with Millennium Flyer cars are their lap bars. They don't have shocks, the lap bar always goes down hard and I always feel like I'm getting stapled. I'm not looking to do anything dangerous, I just want a little breathing room, and those lap bars remove the enjoyment of air time on a wooden coaster for me. I just feel more comfortable, and enjoy my ride more in PTC's.

That being said, are the 2 seated PTC?????????s as maneuverable as Millennium Flyers?

I feel like with some fine tuning to them, they could be seriously great. You could have so much more versatility with the one row trains instead of 3. And they would look so much better running along the track and turns and such.

Those are bomb. I would LOVE to see those used on GCIs and GGs sometimes!

Millennium flyer restraints felt fine to me. I got plenty of air time on evil knievel and terminator salvation. both very fun rides
