So I downloaded the No Limits demo, and am planning on buying it if I can get this problem figured out. When I ride the rides, it goes at 1 FPS! How can I fix this?

I have Windows Vista, A 1.6 GHZ Processor, Approximately 224 mb of memory, an Intell GMA 950 Graphics card

Also, when I open No Limits it says "Warning: No 3D Acceleration Found" or something of that sort. But when I run dxdiag, it says I have DirectX 3D Acceleration?

Is there ANY way I can get No Limits to run faster?

[lol] Vista! That explains it all...
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

No, it doesnt. Before making an ignorant post that doesnt help him, why not research his specs?

I found the problem quite easily - your graphics card. Try running some updates from Intel to update the card and if it doesnt work, well, Id say you may be SOL. Integrated anything (except some sound cards) suck.

224MB of RAM? You should ATLEST have 1GB for Vista.

Laptop has nothing to do with getting updates. Connect to internet, go to intels website and search for the update that does with your card.

Yeah, and if the upgrades don't work, there's nothing you can do. Integrated graphics are usually horrible for any 3D type of game. Integrated graphics are the reason I decided to buy a Mac Book Pro instead of just a Mac Book ;)

Also, Real, I have heard that NL runs better on XP than Vista, so cdp123 running Vista probably factors in to his low frame rates.

Well, about the RAM, I had to get my hard drive replaced last month, I originally had 2 gig, and now I have 224 meg, according to DirectX

Also, officially, theres no developer for NL that has said NL dosent work for Vista correctly, so I'm not sure, I guess I'm outta luck here.

^^ Yeah, you're right bigboy. It does better on an XP (that's why I got one. [;)]

^ I would not know why it would not work because I have a laptop and it works fine (minus the enormus lag).

But not getting 1. Ive seen most all of the people who had those issues fix them with drivers.

I am getting better FPS in Vista than XP when I had my older card. Though I did buy a new GeForce 8600 GTS and now it never drops below 100 FPS. People who say Vista is the problem have no idea what they are talking about. Sure Vista has its issues but SP1 will be coming out soon and it will fix any of them. Vista is working better for me than XP did. I have yet had a lock-up on Vista.
