I gots a question.

I currently have (I believe) DDR2 533 in my system. I have two sticks of 512 for 1GB (obviously).

I wanted to buy some performance RAM at DDR2 667 (again, two more 512's) and stick those beside my others.

Will there be issues with the different rates? Will it actually slow me down or what? I know I cant really slow down since Ill have double the RAM but what are the consequences of the different sticks?

I'm pretty sure there is some effect. Not sure how drastic it might be though. I know you run into troubles if you have dual channel mixed with single channel ram.

Both are duel channel. It will all be the same except for the clock speeds.

All memory will operate at the slowest speed ram chip so buying faster memory will be a waste of money. I would buy the same as you already have or replace it all with the faster memory.
If you are going to make a scene, be seen.
