So I was thinking today, and i had a very nice and realistic Idea!
Nasa should build an Intamin Impulse Coaster at the kennedy space center & Museum. It would fit so nicely, draw even more crowds and bring some extra $$ if charged for sperately. The theming would go along PERFECTLY with an actual Space shuttle launch (since shuttles also twist while going upwards). It could also tie in with some educational value, since NASA actually looked into LIM/LSM technology to launch future aerospace transporters. (x-34...i think?)

I just thought about it, it would be a very nice and fitting attraction, I can almost visualize it, Blue Track, White Supports and inbetween some tall palmtrees. and i don't think there are any Impulse Coasters in Florida at all! Tell me what you guys think.

Good idea. I bet it would be neat. Would it be indoor or outdoors? I know it won't be under a roof and all, but what if the spiral launched out of the roof? That would be cool!

Thats a nice Idea, maybe someone should e-mail the kennedy space museum [;)]
I am retheming my "Typhoon Twister" Impulse Coaster I made in hyper rails and put some cool textures on it.
The paint sheme blue/white with red connectors looks awesome, I used a spacy environment and put it inbetween an ally of palmtrees.
The train textures look REALLY good (Light Grey, Dark Blue Deco-Stripe with Red Harnesses.) I had the NASA emblem on the wheel-covers, but since it is under strict copyright I need to abandon this Idea[V]. I may or may not upload it, since it is really the same ride as in the Pack I just released. The name I thought of was "Lift Off! The official NASA-Thrill Ride!"

that idea of launching through the roof would be an awesome idea.
but it would suck if it's going to rain[:(]

actually, it could be all indoors, nasa has buildings over 200 feet tall to house the shuttle and rockets.. they'd have no problem making an indoor coaster that large. also, i think that nasa could afford it.. besides, just look at the millions of dollars they wasted to crash 2 probes into mars lol.

I highly doubt NASA would fund this OR the building lol.
It would probably be funded exclusively by museum funds.

When I said launch it out of the roof, I didn't mean go to a 200 ft. tall building! (in houston, the visitor area is only about 50 ft.) Anyway, speaking of NASA, my uncle is the director of safety over there in houston! That's why I went last summer to SF astroworld and all that other stuff over there!
