I made a ride inspired by the compact layout of Batman, plus a batwing. Im pleased with it. What do you think?

I'm not really sure what to call it. It has obvious Batman influence, but I see a lot of Raptor in it. Oh, and I like how the turn after the loop looks like it came straight off of Parc Ast?????????rix's invert.

Yeah i spent so long trying to shape it and it was worse than making a cobra roll. It never did become shaped that well. But its not aweful.

I dig the layout, but the batwing could use a bit more shaping, and I feel like that 90 degree turn is a bit excessive for that section of the ride... Although it could be very fun at the same time! We'll just have to wait and see [:P]
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Well ive redone the layout like five times since. Ive got this so far and i want to know if i should continue. I like the shaping, but im not sure about my Deuling dragon loop helix thing's shaping. The snap rides fine and isnt jerky feeling on the ride, but tends to look strange from certain angles. But the shaping is the best i have managed to get it to look on any of my other designs, sooo.. Tell me what you think.

LOVE LOVE IT. I love the quick transitions into the highly banked turns. I love the idea of that in an invert, I've wanted to make an invert for a long time utilizing elements like that but I can't for the life of me shape an invert correctly.

Looking forward to the ride.

I love that immelmann-wingover bit, but the element sequence before that seems a bit standard to me. I preferred that batwing you had in it before.

Aagh ok well i kinda ditched that idea because the shaping is tecnically impossible to do exactly with newton. And i like that it has a generic element sequence at the beginning. It makes it easier to tie a kick ass ending into. I may be able to fit something like a batwing in at the end tho.

personally i think your batwing was fine and i'm sad to see it go, but this layout is equally kick ass so stick with it. all the shaping looks decent.

I liked the layout you had before better too. I'm not sure why you say the shaping is impossible with Newton. The only reason I can think of for a B&M is because you don't have the right transition function, or you can't start/end banking transitions while still rolling. The former doesn't seem like a problem based on my experience, and the latter would be an issue with this design too so that can't be it. I've done most all the shaping you had on your old design, and with good quality, so I'll have to go out on a limb and say it's definitely doable.

Judging by your riverbank, station, and MCBR heights, I think you might have to do some editing to make your ending work. That's another thing I like about the other layout...doesn't seem like you had to fight speed loss to get back to the station. I can see that turning into a problem with this one.

I didn't realize you changed the layout. I don't like it as much anymore

^ i was gonna mention that too dcs. It could just be the picture, but your mcbr looks almost level with your station which may creat e-stop issues and lots of pacing issues.

Yeah im gonna change the station height, and lower the land, and add a great ending and batwing. Trust me it will be better than before. The old layout was good but this one is going to be much better. The larger elements are always the same on B&Ms so its realistic that the first few elements are just typical b&m elements. There will be more fancy stuff dont fret.

I guess its a far more realistic layout now. I would make the river narrower so the parts that are over the water are more special, rather than having 90% of the track above the water.

^ agree.

The wing-over looks just a tad strange to me... not sure why. i'm no invert expert...
