Some kid on youtube is arguing with me that RCT3 is more professional than NL, he also is saying how much rct3 is better: he says rct3 is more realistic, design coasters better, and the speed settings are more realistic. I use NL becuase it is the exact opposite of what he's saying. I told him he had no clue what he was talking about. so which is better, rct3 or NL?

Depends on what you are looking for in a coaster.

Accuracy and Realism? NL.

Fun and Simplicity? RCT3.

I enjoy both.

More proof that there isn't intelligent life on Youtube.

I'll bet it's some immature 12 year-old troll who needs a good banning, kinda like this guy.

Sure NL for tracks

the only thing smooth in rct3 is the menu, it has bumpy coasters, bumpy graphics and bumpy fps, but i still like it :P

what a silly question.. if you have to ask stick to rct 3, it's for lazy fanboys who dont want to take the time to make something realistic.. ..

^^ I actually agree. UR you could build realistic rides but very simply. Not really rocket science.

Then you can't pick. You can't just say RCT3 because you haven't played NL in four years, when NL is clearly the better program in every aspect.

Depends on it. If you only look at the rides, yes, NL is by far better. However, when you go for darkrides, interactive rides ed. you're better of with RCT-3

RCT3 is best out of NL and RCT3. Don't look at it from the coaster nerd perfectionist point of view. The fact is that the general public can't build poop in NoLimits. While in RCT3 anyone can open it up and do something and build something. It is many times more user friendly that what NL is. RCT3 doesn't need a learning curve whereas for NL you have to practice a lot to be able to build something decent. From a marketing point of view and the majority of the public, RCT3 is absolutely better than NoLimits. Then again you're all a bunch of coaster nerds [:)] Feel free to rip on me but you know I am right.

Depends...if you want parks...well RCT3. If you want people with completely unrealistic AI then RCT3 again. If you want coasters that you can't finish because no matter what pieces you try to PLUG in near the end, it won't fit...again RCT.

If you want even half way realistic coasters. Then NL. I've really only built one coaster for the boards. It's not easy but even with pumps, misplaced supports, etc. it still makes better coasters than RCT3.

Personally, I would like to see a combo of the two. NL could have 2 modes. Plug in mode and freehand mode. You could even take your creations from plug in mode and modify them in freehand mode to make them more realistic.

But I actually had NL BEFORE it crashed! Ive got to admit, when I had NL I was Impressed on the graphics any more but, I coulnt even biuld a simple track let alone a coaster. RCT3 I the most UNDERESTIMATED coaster game I have ever seen! In RCT3 you can biuld actual thrilling flat rides and ride them. Can you do that with NL? NO!

Those who have never used spore and therefore have never thought they were somehow cooler than everyone else for having done so, use much cooler words still, such as:

Agreed,
indubitably,
yes!

do you see.
