If your wanting to build parks, get rct2, much better than 3.

Well, it depends. If I've been playing NL for a while and want to take a break and just have fun, I'll open up RCT3 and make a park or two. Otherwise, it's NL all the way. The interface so much cleaner, and the options so much broader that NL just MASSACRES RCT in terms of goodness. But like I said, RCT is a nice break to take every once in a while.

^Completely agree. I play both for totally different reasons.

I've been playing RCT3 for a while now and didn't think that there was any other coaster games, but now that I hear all these good things about NL I might go buy it!

No Limits by far. RCT3 is way to unrealistic for me, and there isnt as much presicion in editing

Rct3 is much better in buildingparks, and like to buid coasters in rct3 and theme them, thanks to all the content created by the fanbase you do a lot with theming etc, NL is much more realism in building the track, rct3 is much more focussed on everything around it

it depends what you want really. no limits is definitely better for realism and graphics, physics on the actually coaster whereas rct3 is more for the audience that want to build and run their own theme parks.

Like most others have said, No Limits has amazing realism, but it takes time to learn how it works. With RCT 3 it is a very straightforward coaster design system in addition to building a full theme park. As A owner of both, I would much rather have the realism of No Limits, than the unrealistic cartoonish RCT 3.

No Limits of course. SM would be my second choice, RCT2 then RCT3. But yeah, you can't compare NL to RCT. NL is a building sim only and RCT3 is a full theme park sim but more of "game", which NL is not. Some refer to NL as a game. I don't agree with that. That's just me.

It depends on what you personally are trying to achieve. A full park, RCT series, a stand alone bad ash realistic ride, NL all the way.

NL is more realistic, and is not into theme park building...the learning curve is longer...but very rewarding.....

In my honest opinion, They have there own perks, NL is great for realistic coasters and rct3 is a great tool for parkmaking, epecially if you have soaked or wild.

No Limits. There isn't even a contest. RCT3 has just those premade segments, whereas with no limits, you can make coasters which could be built in real life. Screw park making, just use 3D scenery objects.

I used RCT3 until I got NL, and then never used it again.

RCT3 is more like an actual game to build a whole theme park. You attract guests and complete goals to get rich and stuff. Nolimits is just for designing coasters. It's really accurate and REALLY hard to use for a while. You get used to it, but it's hard to make tracks perfectly smooth like RCT. I prefer Nolimits :D.

I like no limits but i suck at making coasters on it cuz its hard 4 me..
But RCT3 is easier to build stuff and RCT3 Soaked is really cool cuz you can make waterparks and Coasters in the same park.

NoLimits is a better roller coaster simulator, but RCT3 is a better theme park simulator. I personally like NoLimits better.

No Limits is so better. I have all RCT's and NL and NL beats them all.
