So yeah, I'm back after a bit of a break with a new project thats been moving along really quickly. I believe Mega Lite designs are always hard to create because it's hard to make a layout that competes with their already fantastic original layout. After a lot of scrapped designs I finally came to this satisfactory result. I really like how it's comming along and I think all of you will really like this one. Nothing big or new, but I think I captured the essence of a Mega Lite design very well. Perhaps my favorite steel design I have created.

As of now, the supports and layout are 100% done. There will be more pictures/updates to come later. But for now, here are a couple of shots to give you an idea of how it's turning out.

Expect to see it completed in 2 weeks or so.

You are welcome to use my Kick It In The Backseat jet coaster custom station that I am building right now. If you want it I can send it to you.

I agree with Kyle. It looks obviously Newton built.

Yes, it is obviously newton built. But if its any reassurance, the trackwork is actually rather good imo (better than my past rides). I tried to use some more complex time zones with this one. I guess there will always be some hints of newton-ness when you use newton.

It just seems to have more force based shaping as opposed to geometric which intamin is more often than not. Though i may be wrong. More pics plz.

I don't think Intamin uses geometric shapes to design their rides, but his trackwork still seems very off.

Layout looks great, shaping, not so much...doesn't look like Intamin at all.

Thanks. I'm still working out all the kinks with my newton skills. Not to say the rest of the track is far more superior, but I will say that the first screen is the area of track where I strayed the furthest away from typical intamin design.

And just a quick update... Had a TON of free time so station and queue lines are well on their way to being completed. They aren't anything special, but I always like adding some extras just for aesthetic appeal. I'll post some screens tomorrow, or the fallowing day.

Ahh thanks, but Saci was a wooden design (hybrid). I've much less practice with steel coaster designs. I'm not saying this ride is going to be perfect. It's really just something to get me back into the groove of things over spring break. [;)]

Just a little update on the station area... Still learning OC so it's nothing special.

This project has moved surprisingly fast and I'm glad to say that it is now about 95% done! I will probably get it up on the exchange next week.

Here's some more pictures of the ride in in its nearly completed state.

More likely because the ride style, color scheme, and setting look pretty similar.

Thanks but I have to say... I don't see how you think it's too much like Afanc? The layout is completely different and colors aren't that similar.

The station looks bad. I suggest getting rid of some of the un-necessary beams to decrease the price and increase the aesthetic appeal.

^ So apparently opinions are wrong now?
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

^ Except he stated it as fact, not as opinion. So in similar fashion, I stated my opinion that Jcoasters is wrong as a fact.
