Just been working on my new project, it's a terraining hugging Vekoma Minetrain.

I started working on it after retying to improve thr Runaway Minetrain at Alton Towers and just got carried away and it turned into a full blown project! The theme was gonna be a little mexican but I watched O' Brother Where Art Thou the other day so I thought an old time american railroad is a nicer option.

The layout has a slight Cheetah Hunt/ Projekt Helix feel to it, with two magnetic launches. But the forces are family friendly, and I'm just trying to create something that would be fun to ride!

Here's a few screens and a little video. I've yet to name the thing.

Great movie :D

Looks like a solid ride as per usual. How much theming are you planning to do? Much more detailed than Hawk or going to try and keep it a more overall theme?

Also I presume you're not gonna add in RMT style tunnel test faliures :P

I'm still doing this! Just slowed due to work commitments.

So heres some screens of how it's looking. I'm not sure how I should support the sections that embedded into the ground... Do I just leave those sections to lie on the ground (it's taken long enough to move the terrain to make it work tbf)

The area this ride covers has made terraining a nightmare but I'm there with it now.

I think the best idea would to in effect have the foundations deeper than the terrain (as if the terrain backfilled over the foundation) and thus support it with a steel support as if it were going into this foundation. To make it look realistic you might want a simple concrete base 3DS/support structure as the foundations will be "peaking" out of the ground at some locations.

^I was thinking about doing that for my ride, it would look great here too! I love how this is turning out!

Still hard at work on Kite Flyer but gone back to Minetrain and decided not to scrap it as it's pretty fun. I'll probably look at releasing it this weekend, but for now...

I love the idea of a multi-launch mine train! I love mine trains alone and this will surely be a treat!

Yes it's still a thing. I've learnt I have to be a little less ambitious if I want to finish projects as my work hours are crazy. Just bought a new gaming PC now too, it's so weird downloading rides and seeing them with high fps, and this ride really benefits from the settings turned up.

I'm actually releasing this without any extras. Everything in it actually comes with NL2, it's an interesting experiment to see whether you guys like it and whether I can build successfully outside my B&M obsession, but we'll see, I'm looking to releasing it this Sunday.

This one is my favorite shot! Reminds me of "The Ultimate" at Lightwater Valley! 8-)
