RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 demo coming September 27
Atari will also offer professionally designed roller-coasters with pre-orders of its amusement-park sim.
Sim fans eager to get on board RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 are in luck. Atari announced today it will release a demo of the amusement-park sim on September 27, one month before the game's scheduled October 26 ship date. The demo can be reserved today for automatic delivery via GameSpot DLX.
In addition to the demo announcement, Atari announced a special pre-order campaign for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. All those who pre-order the game will be able to download three rollercoasters created by professional rollercoaster designer John Wardley: Dueling Dragsters, a twin-track ride, and the Tesla Coiler, which resembles its namesake. Those who preorder the game from EB Games will have access to another coaster, called Serpentine, while those who pre-order from other outlets can download the wooden coaster called "Splinter" after the game ships.
