When I am done with the rides I am building, would someone be willing to create stations, tunnels, photo stores, food shop, etc scenery items for the rides? I am willing to give my points for this site, and credit them as well for helping with the design of the coasters.

475 feet tall. I thought of sinking it 15 feet and call it Magnum XL 460.

I really need help on the scenery for the ride. It would make a tremendous ride into an incredible ride!

I am not sure I would be able to help due to me working on several other projects. But I am interested in what you want. Theming wise. What are your plans for the coasters and the surrounding area. Im sure if you gave that type of information you may find someone who is willing to do it.

I'm thinking of an wild-west like entrance and station. The ride station is in a saloon, with the photo shop/ store beneath it. The riders enter the saloon, and on one side of the building (the side closest to where you enter, there is a stairwell. That staircase leads to the station. Behind the back wall of a the building, there is another flight of stairs (this time from the station) that go through the store. In short, the entrance would be similar to Maverick's station, except for the gift shop being directly underneath the station. For the final two airtime hills, I think it would be nice to put buildings and boulders, to simulate a high speed flight through the town. For the RMC ride, both station and store would be ideal if they were similar to the entrance for Outlaw Run.
Possibly a midway?

I do as well. I really think the scenery will help make it a "fantastic" experience.

I got the pro version of sketchup (30 day trial). When I try to import the buildings into NL2, all I get is a building where one side appears with the textures, as designed, but the other side, and inside rooms are all dark. What am I doing wrong?

Assign your .3DS file to a .nl2sco file using the NL2SCO editor. Go to the Advanced tab and check the "Fix Ambient Materials" option. Save and import the NL2SCO file into your scene. Black faces should be fixed!

^^ Would take that futuristic logo! I know the similar font! Reminds me of Westminster Font which is printed on each car of Magnum XL200, actually! :D

white faces mean you need to go into sketchup and select the faces that are white in NL2(they may look normal in sketchup)then right click and reverse faces. then it should work.

^Kinda adding to plantoris' comment.
If the sketchup model has any blue faces, it means that you need to reverse them. It might be tricky to see after you textured them but if you look at the other side of a face and it's white, it needs to be reversed.

The general rule of thumb is any (untextured/coloured) visible face should be white. If you don't already, save all the texturing till the very end so you can ensure all the faces are the right way round :)

I would be willing to do some scenery for you. I don't do stations though, I like doing paths, fencing, flat rides and foliage. check out my parks and let me know if you like my style.
