Hey, I'm doing a recreation of Screamin' Eagle at Six Flags St. Louis. So far, trackwork is a complete circuit but there are a few problems with it.
As of now, there are three major issues. It only reaches 56mph though the largest drop is 92' and the train is going about 22mph over that hill. The final brake run is way too high and the train vallies on the hill up to it. It's about 110' too long.
I think I can fix the brake run problem by setting the angle of the brake run, station, and transfer track to 2* instead of 3*. The speed I think is a friction problem, and the length is just a matter of perfecting each element.
Once I fix those problems, I'll bank it, terrain it, support it, and maybe 3d it if I feel the model deserves them.
NLs friction rates hinder this ride I feel, IE the last turn and final brake run, so there are two spots with friction wheels. They are hidden, but they're there.
