Sea Life Coming To Alton Towers And More News!

A Sea Life is coming to Mutiny Bay, and some further details have emerged.

The Sea Life is to be located in the old 3D Cinema building, behind the Mutiny Bay Shoppe. The installation is rumoured to be from a travelling Sea Life in Germany, with a cost of ?????????1.8million to bring it to Mutiny Bay.

Also as reported for 2009, Cred Street will be a completely new area following a transformation over the approaching closed season. Along with the removal of the iconic Corkscrew roller coaster, the Bouncing Bugs will be removed from the park at the end of the 2008 season. In its place will be a relocated Ug Swinger from Ug Land and a new Adventure Play Ground.

So 2009 isn't the best year again for the Thrill Seeker, but in 2010 there will be a major installation in Ug Land. This installation is said to have the codename 'Secret Weapon 6', or 'SW6'. Enthusiasts may get excited at the sound of that, as Nemesis was built under the codename SW3, Oblivion SW4 and Air SW5.

It is also rumoured that we will start to see ground work from next year in hope to have SW6 open for the start of the 2010 season.



so 'Secret Weapon 6', could this be the rumored Woodie or something totally surprising?

and rita wasent under a secret weapon name because it wasent a secret, it was known very ealry on what it was going to be. alton towers have a great way of keeping things secret.

i would agree though alton does require a few more flat rides

As much as I would love them to put in a new coaster I really love Corkscrew. Even though its rough and old, its still really fun. I love it and its surprising for such an old ride.

i think gouldy wants it to be a woodie? and from the pictures that were on towerstimes for 24hours about 1 month ago itlooks like it will be a woodie or a sitdown steal coaster of some sort

well they really need something new to be fair, it's getting a little stale imo

indeed. thank go maerlin has now taken over because there getting the ball moving now. tussauds just couldent and concentrated on the southern parks
