Uhm I'm pretty sure the water on Journey to Atlantis is 99% sewage water so what's the problem

Yeah that is really disgusting
Bro do you even measure CFUs, MCLs, NTUs, and EPA?
Discovery Cove and Aquatica did some no-no's around 2014 lol. According to their little report, they like to violate their effluent limits for copper, chlorine, pH (usually barely too alkaline) and animal waste (fecal coliforms means poo poo bacteria, E coli, etc). Chlorine and fecal coliforms are the animals and water rides/water park, but the copper is interesting because they must have some serious infrastructure issues with copper piping they need to address, or the wastewater is corrosive.
https://echo.epa.gov/detailed-facility- ... 0035660834http://epa-sites.findthedata.com/l/6026 ... d-aquaticaPlease be aware that what I linked to is only for a wastewater pipe that discharges into the nearby creek. All companies that discharge waste are required to have a permit and limitations are placed on the quantities they can discharge of given substances. The Seaworld amusement park itself and the waterpark have no recent violations. That being said, if you want some Shamu poo-poo, hit up that creek next to the park.
I wouldn't be surprised if they're more concerned about one of the fun brain-eating amoeba's that tend to occupy stagnant ponds, and may have been found near the park (completely out of their control).
Then it's really odd to me that they could expel "2,147,483,650%" (I added commas for effect) of their copper quota, so that's probably a wandering decimal mistake.

To contrast this, SFMM was fined roughly $200,000 dollars over the past several years because apparently they also have chlorine and copper issues in their effluent wastewater discharges.

https://echo.epa.gov/detailed-facility- ... 0002558562Cedar Point was in non-compliance with air emissions (Clean Air Act violations) in 2014 curiously enough. Ohio's EPA databases are ass unlike California and Florida so it's a pain to see what exactly they did.
Knott's Berry Farm and SFGAm passed.
And because Mikey is alive SFOT and SFFT are not monitored, but surrounding businesses mysteriously are. Hooray red states!
If you guys get bored make sure you read what the actual violation is, because 90% of the time it's submitting a report late or something stupid.
