Obama has now officially accomplished more good than Bush.

Now the workers at the hospital where my sister is won't have to "give tours to propective medical interns" where someone ends up "separated from the tour group" for an hour.

He sure has!!

I for one cannot thank him for all the change he is bringing. For example, we have such amazing accomplishments like this or my personal favorite, this. Way to go fella!!

Yet, I can appreciate the hospital visit thing though as an accomplishment. It never made much sense to state who can and cannot visit in a hospital room -- even as a medic I could never quite wrap my mind around the reasoning there. So with that said, let's get on to some more astounding accomplishments ... like this!

Interesting to see how the national debt shot up during the Bush years and the rate of increase has actually gone down since Obama got into office. Clinton actually had the debt leveled out! [lol] Yet once Bush got in there the debt more than doubled.

Oh yeah, and as for his approval rating, compared to Bush's 30-35% I'd say he is a great improvement from Bush!

And you are honestly using Yahoo answers as a reliable source? Really? That's the best you've got? Please note that the answer for this was posted two years ago, when Obama had just been voted in and half the country was panicking for no reason at all as if he was going to be the cause of the apocalypse or something.

So yeah, Obama is way better than bush even according to all of your examples. Try again.

Holy crap! the national debt is actually going down according to your national debt clock!

Slosprint... do you even know why our debt largely increased under Bush? Yeah, catch up on your history and look up our debt under the 3.5 terms of FDR. You may be surprised!!!
Oh, were you expecting something here?

He invaded a country with lots of fossil fuel while mysteriously ignoring all of the other countries with worse dictators that happened to not have an excess of resources to mine?

TConwell, please name a singe one of those links that shows a CLEAR message that Obama sucks. I see a huge increase over Bush's approval rating, a debt clock made to look bad, and a Yahoo Answers question that shows absolutely nothing about Obama.

Oooh I love not being American. Sometimes.

Down here we have a battle between some facist twits and Lib Dem, who actually do good things rather than making millions of job cuts and increasing taxes on the UK's poorer population. Shame considering the Conservatives are going to win.

I honestly hope nobody bashes Obama since he is a thousand times better than the incompetent Bush, who made mistakes in every sentence."Those who enter the country illegally violate the law". Hmmmmmmmmm...

lol, CoasterkidMWM... I was asking Slosprint... Although that's not the reason why the US invaded Iraq, I'm sure fossil fuels/oil was "expected" later on.

I can see that the debt shot up durring FDR but that has absolutely nothing to do with the situation we are in now. As you can see by the statistics in my graph Clinton had the debt nearly leveled out until Bush came into office and more than doubled it. I honestly do not see how you view these two seperate instances as linked.

HISTORY!!!! IT'S F*&$#$% AMAZING!

The debt has gone up because we are in a war!!! Just like our debt went up when we were in WWII? And in your ignorance, you claim to not see a link between the two.

Also, note that on the last link, under Obama, our debt is still going up!!!!

Plus, our debt will still go up because Obama wants to still have our troops stationed in Iraq instead of pulling them out, which I think was one of his platforms in 2008.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

yeah... to the anger of so many NASA employees. Also, the Constellation Program was supposed to create a HUGE load of employment opportunities when it was in full effect.

Not to mention all of the money they already spent on it. Plus, they already launched Ares 1-X, so that's only $9 billion down the drain.

No poop Sherlock, now please say why the war was not Bush's fault. It seems to me that the US getting involved in WWII after having pearl Harbor bombed was reasonable, please explain to me how you can possibly think that Iraq was in any way justified, and not just a complete waste of money on Bush's part. And of course the debt is still going up under Obama, you simply cannot expect a rate of increase that high to level out over a two year period. It is simply an unrealistic expectation.

EDIT: I think we are getting beside the point. You still have not provided any evidence as to why Bush is in any way better than Obama, you have merely pointed out Obama's faults which, when looked at from any angle, Bush did a far worse job at dealing with.

First off .... Im not sure where you went to school, but the numbers on the debt clock (top left hand corner) are increasing so .... yeah .... how that means it's "going down" really boggles my mind. Perhaps you need to go back to second grade and relearn math.

Since I am still active duty (for another 89 days) I will reserve answering the rest of this until AFTER I have retired. There is a certain matter of not being able to insult the POTUS while on active duty and if you will notice I have not done that -- merely pointed out some congratulatory notes.

Yet, perhaps this might help you:

- Is in process of trying to limit the First Amendment
- Has abused the Fourth Amendment
- Has ignored the Fifth Amendment
- Has ignored the Sixth Amendment
- Has gutted the Tenth Amendment
- Took a massive national debt and made it bigger
- Has destroyed relationships with all our allies
- Has ignored provider cost aspect of health care problem
- Has done nothing to control runaway spending in SS, Medicare, and troop levels
- Has moved us on the road to socialism
- Has tried to eliminate health care for active duty soldiers

However, did I point out anywhere in my post that I "thought he sucked"? Hmmmm ... you might read it again. Lastly, perhaps another visual education might help you -- but since you failed to see the number thing properly who knows. Perhaps someone else might gain from it though.

Lastly .... for those who are old like me, do you even remember what a real leader looks like? Perhaps then, it's time for a proper reminder:

I find it funny how in an argument debating Bush vs. Obama you bring up the constitution. Forgot about Guantanamo, have you? And yes, when I looked at the debt clock the number was decreasing. I just found that amusing. I do not doubt that it is going back up now, though.

- Is in process of trying to limit the First Amendment

Free speech zones.

- Has abused the Fourth Amendment

Patriot Act.

- Has ignored the Fifth Amendment

Elaborate please.

- Has ignored the Sixth Amendment

Agreed here, but this is more of a broken/delayed promise. Carried over from the Bush admin.

- Has gutted the Tenth Amendment

Only thing I agree on is the healthcare mandate, because there is no public option besides Medicade, which needs it's own major reform and is not open to many people. Otherwise I disagree.

- Took a massive national debt and made it bigger

Used New Deal type tools to get the runaway debt and failing economy from the last admin (collapse started in summer 08 and the market crashed in September). Healthcare was necessary at this time in my opinion because with so many people laid off, they lost coverage. It all ties together. But he has not spent just to spend in my opinion.

- Has destroyed relationships with all our allies

I think you mean Bush for this one.

- Has ignored provider cost aspect of health care problem

Again, with so many people out of work (and subsequently losing coverage) due to our last administration not acting/regulating on the corruption with the banks thus having the economy fall apart, it was necessary.

- Has done nothing to control runaway spending in SS, Medicare, and troop levels

SS and Medicare have been running out of control since they started, and troop levels are out of control thanks to Iraq and Afghanistan. I like how Obama is expected to fix everything and cut taxes on top of it within a year and a half of being in office.

- Has moved us on the road to socialism

Lol.

- Has tried to eliminate health care for active duty soldiers

Please elaborate on this. I have never heard any such thing and am interested in it.

And last I checked, Reagan's tax levels were higher than Obamas. He also raised taxes a number of times during his time in office. Reagan's deregulation helped fuel the mess we're in now, and 'trickle down' has yet to work long term. Real leader indeed.

Thank you, freddie! I suck at debating politics. Religion is my area of expertise as it is so easy to debate theists.
