Ever notice that anywhere a coaster track goes over a path there is usually to be a net below the track? Believe its some requirement placed on the park for saftey purposes.

^ not at knott's berry farm......
Guess some parks, they like to do it for "safety" but I don't think its a requirement.

Could be different from state to state. At CP there are tents over the queues on Raptor, MF, and Mantis whenever the track is above the queue line or a path. Its obviously there for protection even if it is slight. But objects still can fly quite a distance. donno how many shoes and cell phones landed on the bridge for the cadilac cars from that cobra roll.

Yea, but there are alot of rides that run on 2 trains and it never really causes any problems, but like you said we're dealing wit SFI. But i never heard of any real complaints from SFoG and there rides so we'll have to see, but i really dont see any major problems

Those are such great colors - loving the orange.

And those green accents rock too.

[lol] I'm surprised no one has mention the slogan yet, "Bad to the Chrome".

I just don't get how "Bad to the Chrome" has anything to do with this coaster, especially the colours. I was hoping part of the train would be chrome, but it looks like perhaps just the logo will be similar to chrome.

Well Goliath has been testing for about a week now. We finally have some pictures and two yes two videos of it testing. They are testing it without dummies in both so the trains aren't going as fast as they will with people. They still make it over the hills at a good speed though.
Here are the videos and a couple pictures.

I will be going on opening day, and I will try to hook you guys up with some pictures.

Especially the first drop, thats why I like pre drops, they give you more airtime on the first hill. Oh, and about the trains, they are almost identical Apollo's Chariot. My point being that, if you look under the seats, there's that grey thing. Put your feet up there, so your restraint won't be down as far, offering more airtime.

Keep in mind that the video was without the water dummies. On a train that can hold 36 riders at a time, that will make quite a big difference from a totally empty train.

Even if the train was only filled with 100 pound kids, that would total up to an added 3600 pounds.

meh they should still have a faster lift too. dummies shouldn't be the only difference.

and putting yur feet up on the "grey thing" won't do anything if the op has any lick of sense and actually does what he/she is supposed to.

Well, rider weight isn't the only contributing thing to speed, there is also the general break in time for the wheels, bearings, etc, plus the temperature.
