I agree with you Dac and WWS. When I rate coasters, which I need to start doing more of again, I automatically penalize them for saying that. It is pure laziness and I really could careless if "I couldn't get this part smooth so don't take off for it." Thats B.S. because you could have fixed it if you would have taken the time to work on it. You probably could have fixed it in the time it took you to write "do not take off for so-and-so." Lazy people...and I admit...I am one of the laziest people on this site but when I post a coaster (another rare occurance) I spend time on it and make sure there is no reason for the rating to be significantly decreased instead of spending 2 hours on it and clicking upload before you even ride it. It is LAZINESS not spot-checking your coasters. If you are too lazy to check for flaws then you have not done enough work to earn a good rating. Therefore, when someone says "do not take off for the support clashes" or "do not take off for the 90 degree piece of track because I ran out of room on the grid" I am deducting points for saying that up front and any problems it causes on the coaster itself. I know the frustrations of these problems and instead of uploading them and pleading for ratings, I fix them. And I believe you people should too. Look at some of the awesome track builders on this site -- WeeWeeSlap, G Force Addict, The Edge, Kev ... AND THE LIST GOES ON! I'm just too lazy to keep posting names. CHECK THEIR COASTERS...I DARE you to find a message pleading for mercy because they were too lazy to fix something. Just some things to think about. Conclusion: DON'T PLEAD FOR RATINGS...DON'T BE LAZY...JUST BUILD THE COASTER DAMMIT! (I know it's spelt wrong for all the grammar cracks that will PM me for spelling dammit wrong). Anyway, that's just my $.02 on it all [8D]
