It would be amazing if this felt like a woodie still, but it will still be amazing either way.

Well yeah lol. I just meant Medusa isn't glass smooth like some other RMCs. It actually adds to the intensity of the ride.

That train is absolutely flying. You're going to be stapled to your lap bar in some parts!

When this thing starts dueling it's going to be positively phenomenal, and everyone will take back anything negative they said :D . I'm calling it right now.
It's been a long time

I don't know if this has been pointed out already, but the exit banking of the green zero-g stall was flipped from the animation to reality. I think they kind of eliminated a cool essence of dueling by cutting off the interaction at the last part, rather than having the green train always facing towards the blue train and rolling around it.

Yeah Medusa uses steel wheels, hence why it feels like a wooden coaster. The running surface and wheels (and structure) are the same as a woodie. Only significant difference is the track construction being fully steel.

It actually doesn't run steel wheels anymore. I believe their nylon now.

So they switched the wheels again? Is it running almost as fast as the steel?

I can't so long! I'm super excited! SFMM was in need for some airtime! Everything before the blue sides zero g roll is pure airtime after airtime.

I'm still bummed out by how short both laps are. That 2nd lift just kills that little pacing it had build up.

I agree the the blue run stops a little short, but on the other hand I personally love the idea of interaction on the lift with two different sets of riders. That's always been one of the most fun aspects about this ride. Other than the fact that boy did Alan not spare the airtime here. :!:

It's RMC time.

At the very least, I count a 180' near vertical first drop as a good element, a fast and strong airtime hill as a good element, and that inverted stall (plug, far as I know I did that first in NL1 a long time ago for Countach which you can find here) as good elements.

Off-topic but Countach was the first thing I thought of when I saw Goliath's layout with the stall, seriously, haha.

Anyone know when we might see a POV or two trains dueling?

It's hard to say. I want to see a real POV. That would make me poop all over my own cat.

^ I don't know if they have been announced, but the way it works here is that is a normal day at the park, and you have to show your pass to get in line.

I'm not sure how to embed this (or if you can) but TC has done it's first with actual riders

And wow, I thought they'd test the dueling first before letting people on!
